Hours in the office

You and Jade are married. Have been married for just short of 3 years and has been dating for just short of 4 years before you proposed. All in all, you've been together for 7 years. You moved in together around 3 years into dating. You're 25 and Jade is turning 28 in just short of 5 months. Meaning she's 27 currently.

(i shit you not, i spent a solid 15 minutes trying to figure out the ages for Y/n and Jade and i even had to type it out and calculate some shit. Jesus christ the shit i do for these books)

There is about 3 and 3/4 year difference between you and Jade as she was born in December and you were born in March. Specifically, March 29th. We all know when Jade was born.

Anyways. Moving on.

As i said, you and Jade live together. And you have an at home office so that means you can spend a little more time with Jade at home. That way you also only have to go into work to pick up some stuff every now and then.

But, as of right now, you're in the office like you have been for the last 6 hours. You're in the middle of a business call and have been for the past 4 and a half hours. Which is just getting frustrating at this point. But you must remain calm as this could be a serious movement for your company. Just a shit load of lawyers really.

But this call could help boost your company to the next level.

"-it would just be a year long contract between me and you to see how i feel about your company. You dont work for me, neither do any of your lawyers. Every now and then, i may send some of my lawyers your way who are starting lawyers to help begin their career. It's not a negative thing. More a positive thing if you think of it. Your firm is a fantastic firm and is even better for beginning lawyers-"

"Can we please get to the point? We've been on the phone for near enough 5 hours and i know we're both fed up of it. Are we signing the contract or are we not?" You ask.

You hear a light chuckle from down the phone.

"Straight to the point. Yes. We're signing the contract. I just want to run through the contract before you come over to my firm and sign the contract." He says.

You roll your eyes and sit with your head in your spare hand. While he talks, there's a light tapping on your door. The door opens and Jade walks in. You smile and tilt your head.

"Who are you on the phone with?" She whispers.

"An asshole." You mouth.

She smiles. He's still going over the contract.

"-and then finally-"

He runs over the final part.

"What do you think? Would you consider it with all of that?"

"Yeah. I'll have to double over it on the day but if i decide i dont like it I'm not signing it." You say.

"That's fine Y/n. I look forward to meeting up. I'll get all things sorted and send you an email for the day we can meet up and sign the contract. I look forward to meet you."

The call ends. Finally. You put the phone down and bang your head forward onto your desk.

"Baby." She says.

She lifts your head and gently rubs your forehead before then placing a kiss on your forehead.

"Dont do that you'll hurt yourself." Jade says.

She pulls a chair next to you.

"Why did i chose to become a fuckin lawyer of all things?" You say.

"Yeah but if you weren't a lawyer.... nevermind we met... no... wait wait..... did we meet before or after you became a lawyer?" Jade asks.

You chuckle.

"I was in Uni when we met. About 3 months from goin to law school." You say.

"Yeah! Sorry i kinda forgot." She says.

You place a kiss on her lips.

"I dont blame you." You say.

You turn your attention to your computer and she whines a little.

"Babyy." She whines.

"What's wrong my love?" You ask.

"Baby you've been in here for hours. I miss you and want cuddles." She says.

"I just have about an hour more of things to finish off and then I'm all yours." You say.

She groans which causes you to laugh.

"You're impatient my love. I miss you too my love but just a little longer." You say.

She huffs and you smile.

"I'm gunna go sit on the sofa then." Jade say.

"No no no. Sit here. You can sit between my legs. We can cuddle while i finish this off." You say.

"Okay. That sounds good." Jade says.

She sits between your legs and you wrap your arms around her torso to make typing easy for you. She lays her head back on your shoulder.

About 20 minutes later, she actually ends up falling asleep. You can tell she's asleep as her breathing is always really soft when she's asleep.

When you finally finish work, you turn off your computer after saving everything and wake Jade.

"I'm all yours now baby. What do we wanna do?" You ask.

She stretches and yawns a little.

"Can we eat and then cuddle?" Jade asks.

"Of course. C'mon. Lets just get takeout cos i cant be bothered cooking and i know you're too tired to cook." You say.

You order takeout and you both eat. You then both go to bed. You lay cuddled up  together.

"I love you." Jade says.

You smile. You love hearing her say that.

"I love you too." You say.

You both remain layed cuddled up together and eventually fall asleep in each others arms.

I finally finally FINALLY got a flannel. I'm officially a Lesbian. Anyways. Hope yall enjoyed. Byeeeeeee :)
