She remembers everything. The heartache. Heartbreak. Loneliness in a crowded room. Silence. Man.... silence is so loud. It's so much louder than any noise you can name. Being in a room on her own, with nothing but her own breathing and her thoughts.
She remembers it all too well.
All the memories. All the late nights. The sleep ins. Breakfast in bed on lazy Sunday's. The days you'd dedicate to her just for being her. Christmas. Her birthday. Your birthday. The nights you'd stay up and make her your own. You were her home. You are her home. You'll always be her home.
Loving you was beautiful. It was fantastic. It was like being permanently high on a drug she would only be high on when she was around you. Loving you was all she can describe as passionate.
But now, she's just high on the loneliness. The constant lonely feeling in a room of people. Feeling lonely on the stage at their shows. That's all she'll ever feel. You left a hole in her heart that only you could fill back up. Only you could fix her broken heart. She's high on the pain and the hurt.
All she wants is that happiness back. Laughing till her belly ached. Smiling like an idiot when she was around you. Getting butterflies whenever you made eye contact. Going bright red when you'd mention her in an interview. Holding your hand wherever you'd go.
She misses the mornings where you'd both chill and sleep in because none of you had to be in the studio that day. The mornings where you'd wake her up with tiny kisses on her forehead or her lips. Mornings where she could lay and admire you for hours.
She misses the feeling of your arms around her keeping her safe from anything bad at night. But now she sleeps alone in a king sized bed just waiting for you to come back to her.
You shattered her heart into a million pieces the day you said you should just be friends. The day you said you were moving out. The day you said you didn't feel it anymore. The day you said you should just be friends.....
You did the one thing to her you promised her you'd never do and you left her alone to pick up the pieces to a puzzle she'll never be able to piece together because you have the final piece, hidden away in your heart.
People can come and go and try to fix her puzzle, but their pieces dont fit the space. The only piece that fits is yours but you hid it away and never looked at it ever again.
Now she'll never complete the puzzle you destroyed with your wrecking ball of fear and hurt.
Oh how she wishes you never left.
Sad one ami right? Sheesh.... anyways. Hope yall liked it! Byeeeeeee :)
