Late home. Request

You're supposed to be home by now. Work finished an hour ago and you're normally home about 15 minutes after you finish work. But you haven't even text her that you're done yet. She's beginning to worry... well... she is worrying.

There is so many things going through her mind. Have you been in a crash? Are you cheating? Are you just stuck in traffic?

She's so so worried about you. She's pacing. She's called you about 50 times. Her anxiety has skyrocketed through the roof. It had when you didn't answer after the 4th phone call.

"What if she's crashed? What if she's cheating? What if she's dead? Oh my god... what if she's dead?"

You walk through the front door and shut it. You lock it. Jade turns around and sees you.

"Y/n Y/l/n where in the fuck have you been?!" Jade exclaims.

"God babe the traffic was fucked. Plus it's bouncing it down out there. Raining like mad and it's freezing out there too. So the rain froze and i had to drive steady." You say.

"I was so goddamn worried about you! Why the hell didn't you answer my calls?" Jade questions.

"My phone died and i didn't bring my charger to work today. Completely forgot. Forgot my dinner too. Ended up having to get some shit from Gregg's." You say.

"You had me terrified. I thought you'd got hurt. Or you'd been like... killed or you'd been cheating on me." Jade says.

"My love i would never ever cheat on you. And my driving has gotten significantly better over the last few months. I promise, you're not getting rid of me." You say, pulling her into a hug.

She hugs back and lays her head on your shoulder. You gently rub her back.

"I love you." You say.

"I love you too." She says.

You place a soft kiss on the top of her head. You try to walk but she refuses to move. Causing you to chuckle.

"Baby, i need to go change." You say.

"No you need a hug." Jade says.

"I do agree but i prefer cuddles and i cant cuddle in work clothes. Not comfy. I give better cuddles than hugs." You say.

"True. Okie then. But! You must immediately give me cuddles. Worry about your work clothes tomorrow. Just shove them in a basket and come cuddle." Jade says.

"Okay my love. I can handle that." You say.

You both go upstairs and you go change. You put your work clothes in the washing up basket and lay on the bed next to Jade. She cuddles up into your side and you both fall asleep like that not long after.
