Highschool reunion. Request

It's been about 10 years since you finished highschool. There's been people at that school you literally haven't seen or spoken to in the whole 10 years since you all left.

Right now, you're checking your mail and you see a letter addressed to you from your old favourite teacher. Mr Stone.

You open it and read it.

Dear Y/n,
It's been 10 years since you and the class of '12 finished highschool. It's the 10 year reunion coming up. 31st of June to be precise. It would be great to see you here. Catch up with some old friends and OLD TEACHERS like me. Yes i am still here. I know you're a busy person with your business but i hope to see you Y/n.
Mr Stone.

You smile and go back inside of your house. You sit on the sofa and check your calendar. You are a very very busy person with your business. But you actually are free that day. Your phone rings. It's your assistant.

"Hey Louise." You say.

"Hey. There's a very important meeting that you need to go to."

"When?" You ask, hoping it's not the 31st of June.

"31st of June."

"Yeah i cant go." You say.

"Why?" Louise asks.

"10 year highschool reunion. It's on the 31st and I'm going." You say.

"10 year highschool reunion?" Louise asks.

"Yeah there's some teachers i wanna see and thank for getting me here." You say.

"Damn who knew you had a sentimental side Y/n?"

You laugh.

"Can we reschedule the meeting?"

Time jump bitches

It's now the 31st of June. You're driving to your old highschool. It's only when you get inside that you remember the old relationship you had. If you'd have remembered, you'd have been reluctant to show. But you're here now. The first person you see is Mr Stone. You walk over to him.

"Mr Stone."

He looks at you and smiles.

"Y/n you showed!"

You shake hands.

"Figured it might be fun. There's a lot of people here i used to hate." You say.

He laughs.

"Even Jade Thirlwall is here. Who woulda knew she'd show."

You smile.

"It's great to see you again sir." You say.

"You too Y/n."

You walk off. You grab a drink.

"Y/n...."

You turn around to see Jade. You two used to date but she completely broke your heart. She's the first and only person you've actually ever been with.

"Jade."

"How....how've you been?" Jade asks.

"I've been good. Got a business. Big big business. Desk office and shit." You say.

"Thought office jobs weren't your thing." Jade says, with a smile.

You smile.

"Yeah they're not. But it's not bad. The assistant i have with me is really cool." You say.

"I couldn't imagine you behind a desk in an office." Jade says.

"It's not always glamorous dont get me wrong. It's not all bad though." You say.

She smiles.

"What about you? I hear that you're a part of a really massive girl band now." You say.

"Yeah it's great. Look, i miss you like a lot Y/n." She says.

"Is this about that relationship from literally 10 year ago?" You ask.

"Yeah..."

"Look, i think it's better for both of us if we just dont do it again. It was a fantastic idea when it happened but it fucked us up when we broke up cos we lost that and the friendship we had as well." You say.

She just nods and walks off. You take a trip to the lockers. Jade quickly walks after you.

You stand at the locker that used to be yours.

"This is where we had our first kiss." You say.

"Yeah...."

You look to Jade. She stands next to you.

"I wont lie, i do miss you too." You say.

"You do?" Jade asks.

You nod.

"Yeah i do. No point tryna hide it. I've missed you since we broke up." You say.

She bites her lip to stop a few tears rolling out.

"I'm willing to give it another chance. The more that i think about it. I would like to give us another chance." You say.

"You would?"

You nod. She smiles a little. You look at her. She looks at you. You place a kiss on her forehead. You then hug her. She hugs back.

Problem solved. You both got married just a year after and lived happily ever after.
