3 years later

It's been 3 years since you and Jade broke up. You're walking down the street minding your own business when a little child runs over to you. No older than 3. She tugs on your jacket. You look at her and smile. You kneel down in front of her.

"How can i help you little one?" You ask.

She giggles.

"You're funny! I like you." She says.

You smile.

"Emma Y/l/n-Thirlwall! Come back here."

You turn your head and see Jade Thirlwall. Your smile drops.

"Mama this my friend!"

She looks at you. You stand up.

"Jade...."

"Y-Y/n?"

"Mama who Y/n?" Emma asks.

"That's..... that's Y/n... mama's old friend." Jade says.

"She has both our last names..." You says.

"She's our kid." Jade says.

"She....she is?" You ask.

Jade nods.

"We broke up before i found out." Jade says.

"Jade i- why didn't you tell me?" You ask.

"I....I figured you'd never wanna speak to me again." Jade says.

"I've been upset cos we stopped speaking." You say.

Emma grabs Jade's hand.

"I gotta go toilet...."

"Emma i dont think-"

"My house isn't too far from here. If she can hold it in for 5 minutes we can go to my house." You suggest.

Jade nods. When at your house, Emma goes to the toilet and you and Jade just stand a little awkwardly.

"So....uh....how've you been?" Jade asks.

"I've been getting by. Been writing a little more. Almost finished a book." You say.

"Wow. That's amazing." Jade says.

You shrug.

"It's alright." You say.

Emma runs back into the living room. She attaches herself to your leg.

"Emma." Jade says.

You smile. You manage to detach her from you and you lift her up.

"How about, me, you and your mum go to the park and you can play about for a big." You suggest.

"Yeah!! Mama can go to park?!!"

You both look and Jade. She notices just how similar you both look. Particularly the eyes and smile.

"Okay how can i say no to you two?"

You and Emma smile. You fist bump. You all get into your car and you manage to find a booster seat for Emma. When at the park, she runs off. You and Jade sit down.

"I've missed you y'know. Like I've really really missed you." Jade says.

"Why didn't you ever call? Tell me i had a kid." You say.

She shrugs.

"If you want.... i can help with whatever you need with Emma." You say.

She looks at you. She nods.

"Yes please. Emma could do with another parent. Especially someone as nice and loving as you." Jade says.

You smile.

"Will you be my girlfriend? Again...."

You smile.

"Yeah. I will." You say.

She smiles. You look at her and she kisses you. It's quick but long enough for Emma to make that typical 3 year old comment.

"Ewwww!! Mama!"

Jade pulls back a laughs. You smile.

"Emma, Y/n's your other mama." Jade says.

Emma gasps.

"She's evil!" Emma says.

You and Jade laugh.

"No. No. Emma, Y/n is Mama's friend but she's also your mama. As well as me." Jade says.

"I have 2 mama's?" Emma asks.

"Mhmm. Yeah, you do pumpkin." Jade says.

"Is that allowed?" Emma asks.

"Of course it is monkey." You say.

Emma smiles a bright and goofy smile. The one that you have and Jade smiles. A few months down the line, you're moved back in with Jade and the three of you are watching a movie together. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone.

Emma is layed on your stomach fast asleep. You're layed on the sofa and Jade is layed cuddled into your side. Within another few minutes, you're both fast asleep.

Okay yall ever seen one of those tiktok's where it's like "imagine in like 3 years, you hear someone yell your name but it's your ex with your kid"? Cos that's pretty much this. Im hella bored tho
