Food allergy. Request

You have a food allergy. You're actually allergic to peanuts. You haven't mentioned it yet but you will. Jade's invited you around to her house to have dinner. Cos she's literally head over heels for you and obviously, she's your girlfriend. So i mean she is gunna be head over heels for you.

You haven't moved in yet but you do spend a hell of a lot of time at her house. You tend to cuddle in her bed watching Netflix and Disney+ together.

There have been a few Netflix and Chill dates.

Why you haven't told her yet is simply because you keep forgetting to mention it. But you didn't really think any food dinner food could fit peanuts in it. But somehow, what Jade has made tonight, has fit peanuts into it. But they're all mashed up so it surely wont makea difference.

You're stood helping her. But it soon becomes a little hard to breathe. She looks at you, worry plastered all over her face.

"Are you okay bubs?" Jade asks.

"Yeah. Just hard to find oxygen. I'm gunna go get some air real quick." You say.

"Okay. Be careful." She says.

She places a kiss on your lips. You smile and kiss her. She smiles and kisses back. You then pull back and go outside.

When you come back in, the food is on the table. You sit down across from Jade and smile.

"This looks phenomenal." You say.

She goes red and smiles. You both sit down and eat and talk. You dont know what's happening but you're feeling off. But you're enjoying the food. So you keep eating. You both then take the dishes into the kitchen and that's when things get worse for you. Jade notices your face swelling up. You hold onto the unit and oxygen becomes hard to find.

"Y/n?" Jade asks.

You're trying to breathe but you cant.

"Y/n what's happening?" Jade asks, panicking.

You cant speak. Jade calls for an ambulance.

"I-I don't know what's happening. Th-their fa-face is swollen a-and th-they cant breathe." Jade says.

"Do they have a food allergy?"

"I-I don't know." Jade says.

"I'm sending an ambulance. They have epi pens on them. Just try to sit them down. They'll be 5 minutes. They're basically just around the corner."

The call ends. Jade gets you to sit down.

"An ambulance is coming. They're 5 minutes away." Jade says.

You nod but oxygen is still hard to find. The paramedics get to Jade's house and run into the kitchen. They grab an epi pen and jab it into your chest. You take in a deep breath and lay your head back.

"We're gunna take her down to the hospital." One paramedic says.

You would normally say something about the pronouns but you cant exactly breathe right now and Jade is too panicked to even think. You just nod and they get you into the ambulance. Jade gets in the back.

"What did you put in the food?" The paramedic asks.

"Garlic. Onions. I think shaven down peanuts." Jade says.

"I think the peanuts did it. Do you have a peanut allergy?"

You nod.

"They never told me. I wouldnt have put them in the food if they'd told me." Jade says.

They get you to the hospital and hook you up to the machines. Jade sits on your bed.

"I'm sorry." Jade says.

"Why're you sorry? I should've told you. I was gunna but it just slipped my mind. I shoulda told you when it got harder to breathe in the kitchen." You say.

"Well now i know. I wont ever buy peanuts or peanut foods or put peanuts in food. Ever again." Jade says.

"No obviously you can have it. Just i cant." You say.

"Well i wont. I'm not gunna get anything you cant have." Jade says.

You smile. You open your arms. She smiles and lays down in your arms. She lays with her head on your chest and wraps her arms around your stomach. You have your arms around her shoulders.

"I will be honest though. The food was amazing." You say.

"Even though it nearly killed you." Jade says.

"Yeah. Even though it nearly killed me, you can cook and i really enjoyed it." You say.

She smiles. You place a kiss on her head and you both just lay there until you fall asleep. Not very comfortable because we all know how uncomfy hospital beds are but as comfy as you can get.
