Panic attack. Request

You're sat on the sofa watching a movie. Jade walks down into the living room, panicking. She's looking for something and she's panicked. You look at her with a slight frown.

"What's wrong baby?" You ask.

Her breathing is rapid. You stand up. She looks at you.

"I-I-I-I...... th-th..... n-n....."

She breaks. You rush over to her and hold her before she drops to the floor. You gently sink down with her in your arms.

"Hey.... hey. Follow my breathing." You say.

Her breathing is all over the place.

"Baby. Hey. Follow my breathing baby. In slowly. Out slowly. Like me." You say.

You demonstrate how you need her to breathe. She tries but it panics her even more when she cant do it.

"Hey. Hey it's okay. It's gunna be okay dont worry. Just in slowly and out slowly." You say.

She starts calming her breathimg. Then she remembers why she's panicking and she just gets worse. You do what normally calms her down. You start gently pulling your fingers through her hair. She starts matching your breathing until she's calm.

She calms right down to sniffles. You just sit there with her in your arms.

"You okay baby?" You ask.

"I am now." She says.

"What happened? What were you panicking about baba?" You ask.

"I dont know. I-It just happend. I think i was looking for something but i cant remember what and i.... my wedding ring!"

You go into the kitchen and it's on the tabletop. You take it back into her.

"It was in the kitchen. How comes you didn't ask if I'd seen it?" You ask.

"Cos i didn't want you thinking i didn't care about it enough." Jade says.

"Now why on earth would i think that? Do you know how many times my dumbass has misplaced my ring?" You say.

She smiles a little. You put the ring on her finger and kiss her. Just like you did the day you got married. She smiles and kisses you back.

"I love you. Next time something like that happens, talk to me. Dont start panicking. I'll help you find the ring or whatever it is you're panicking over not being able to find." You says.

She nods.

"I love you too." Jade says.
