You're finally gunna do it. You're finally gunna tell her. You've gained enough confidence to do it so you're gunna do it. You're currently sat with Jade right now.

"Jade?"

She hums.

"What's up bubs?" Jade asks.

"Can i tell you something?"

She nods.

"Yeah of course. Go for it." She says.

"I... uhm... fuck. Okay gimme a minute." You say.

"Hey whatever it is you can tell me. It's okay." She says.

You take a deep breath.

"I like you. Like like you. And I've been building up enough confidence to tell you for months." You say.

She lets out a deep breath.

"Y/n i... I'm sorry but i dont feel the same way." She says.

You nod. You had a feeling this would happen.

"Right.... uhm.... okay. Thank you for being honest with me. I appreciate your honesty. I'm.... I'm gunna go. I'll-uh-I'll see you later." You say.

"Wait Y/n-"

You leave the building.

Almost a year passes. Jade is now in your boat. She now has feelings for you. You haven't spoken in almost a year. Since you left after confessing to her. She's stalked your Instagram many many times over the past year.

She's currently sat in her car outside your house. Her nerves are through the roof. She gets out of her car and goes to your front door. She knocks. You open the door and come face to face with Jade.

"Jade. Hi. Wow it's been a while. How are you?" You say.

"I've been better. Can i talk to you please?"

"Yeah sure. Come in." You say.

She walks into your house and you shut the door. You both go sit in the living room.

"What's up?" You ask.

"Do you remember last year when you told me you liked me?"

"Yeah. I remember it. How comes?"

"Well i said i didn't like you back but recently, I've grown feelings for you and i just wanted to know if you still felt the same way about me." Jade says.

You scratch the back of your neck.

"Jade i got over you about 4 months after i left your studio." You say.

She bites her lip and starts fiddling with her fingers.

"Oh... right.... uhm... okay. Is... is there any chance you might have some feelings for me still?" Jade asks.

"Honestly, i dont know. Maybe. But i dont think so." You say.

She just nods. A few days pass and there's a knock on your front door. You open it and on the floor by your feet, you see a bouquet of flowers. It's a gorgeous bouquet. Next to it you see a note. You pick it up and open it.

You smile a little bit and pick up the flowers. You take them inside and close the door behind you. You put the flowers in the kitchen.

This process of little gifts happens the whole month. Then the final gift comes through your letter box. You go pick it up and open it. It's an envelope. Inside it, are two tickets to watch your favourite movie in the world being re-showed in cinemas. Best seats in the whole cinema as well. You open the front door and see Jade stood there with a slight smile on her face.

"Hey."

"Hey. How much did these tickets cost?" You ask.

"Not much. Do you wanna head off? The movie starts in an hour." Jade suggests.

"Lemme go change first."

This is the first time all month you and Jade have spoken or seen each other. In honesty, you gained your feelings back for Jade literally a week into it. But you couldn't tell her because you two dont have each others numbers and you blocked one another on Instagram a few weeks after you confessed to her.

You come back down with your keys, phone and wallet and you lock the front door. You and Jade then get in your car. You both sit and talk while you drive. While watching the movie, you and Jade go to get popcorn from the same bucket. You both grab hands, not purposefully.

You dont look but Jade does. She feels herself going red a little. You both pull your hands out the bucket and rest them on the hand rest between the seats. As the movie progresses, she lays her head onto your shoulder. You lay your head on top of hers.

When the movie ends, you both go back to your car and sit in the front.

"I'm not gunna lie, my feelings for you came back like I'd been hit by a truck around the 2nd week of you sending me little gifts. But i couldn't tell you cos we'd both blocked one another on everything. But i really do like you." You say.

She goes bright red. You both make eye contact and lean in. You kiss her first because you know she wont kiss you unless you do it because she's waaaay to nervous for that shit. But she kisses back. You put a hand on her face.

You pull back from the kiss and you both sit back. You're both bright red.

"You wanna be my girlfriend?" You ask.

She nods.

"I would love that." Jade says.

You smile. All happy in the end.
