18. My Future Mother-In-Law. My Future Husband.

Party's done but I'm still overwhelmed. Even if Sasa's not the vocal type of person when it comes to expressing what she feels, she still shows it thru action. Her hug gives me just more courage. Hinatid ko sya sa kanila then dito pa din ako sa parents ko umuwi instead sa bahay ko.

Sobrang saya ng parents ko when I introduced them to Sasa. Not because Sasa also came from a well-off family, not because she is a doctor but because she's really a good and simple person.

"Pls son, let me get to know her more. Gusto ko syang maka-bonding." Ang kulit ni mommy. She even entered my room without any knock. My mom likes her so much that she's already bugging me for Sasa's contact number.

"Okay, okay. heto po. Pero wag niyo po masyado istorbohin. Baka may duty sya kinabukasan eh."

"Ako ng bahala son.. Thanks.. Have a good night!"

Sorry Sasa, be ready sa pangungulit ni mom. She's maybe too excited when I introduced a woman formally, that means sobrang seryoso ko. Minsan tuloy naiisip ko na mag-propose sa kanya, gustong-gusto ko syang pakasalan but I'm afraid that early proposal might just scare her away. I hope in time, she's ready to settle down with me.

I'm ready to hold on to everything, I will never be ready to lose her.

Last night was the best. I was so happy and felt so loved by his family. Kaya naman pati pag gising ko ngayon ay puno ng kasiyahan. I woke up feeling alright and cheerful.

"Doc, may bisita ka. Mrs. Mary Dela Merced po, sabi niya kilala mo po sya."

"Yes yes, let her come in." Napatayo agad ako ng sinabi ni Jill that Tita Mary is here to see me. Niligpit ko agad ang ibang kalat sa mesa at nagmadaling magsuklay. Of couse, I still want to leave a good impression to her. 

Linis dito, ligpit doon. Madami kasi akong pasyente kanina kaya madaming nagkalat na laruan ng mga bata.

"Hi Sasa. I hope you don't mind my surprise visit. Hindi ako kuntento sa textmates."

"Sure po tita."

"I said mommy, right?"

"Ai yes po, mo--mmy. Take a seat po."

Napakabait ng mommy ni Jiro. She even took time to prepare meals not just for me but for some of my staffs too. 

"Sasa, tapos na ba ang duty mo? Gusto ko kasing magkasama tayo sa pamamasyal sa mall. Let's go shopping if you want."

"Sige po mommy. Okay lang. Kunin ko lang po yung gamit ko."

Hindi ko mahihindian si Tita. Tinext na nga ako ni Brent na ramdam daw niyang kukulitin ako ng mommy niya. But I don't mind. Masaya pa nga ako na makasama ko ang kahit sino sa pamilya nila. They're a bunch of good people.
