Dinagyang have passed at bumalik na din kami sa paaralan. And now, here I am sa isang restaurant for our dinner with Ashton's parents.

I was sitting beside Ashton at tahimik lang na kumakain. While our parents are talking. I saw mom glance at me at kay Ashton.

"How about you two? When do you plan on dating?" Tanong ni mommy.

"Mom, we are not dating. We're just friends." Sagot ko.

"Ah tita, oo nga. But if Thalia wants syempre gusto ko din."

"See, ikaw na lang pala yung hinihintay ni Ashton." I took a deep sigh before I excused myself.

Dumiretso ako sa cr at nag retouch bago lumabas.

"You think I didn't know what you did last week?" Napatigil ako ng sumalubong sakin si mommy.

"Mom?"

"You were with a boy last Saturday sa isang hotel, Selene. You think I wouldn't know?"

"Mom, it's not like that. Kasama ko yung mga kaibigan ko mom tsaka si Troy."

Nagulat ako ng hinila ni mommy yung braso ko at itinaas yung sleeves ng damit ko.

"What's this? A couple tattoo?" Tanong niya habang nakatingin sa braso ko.

"M-Mom, no.."

"That guy is a commoner, Selene. Leave him."

"Mommy, hindi ko siya boyfriend."

"So, there's really a guy. Kaya hindi mo pinapayagan si Ashton."

"I don't like him mom."

Hindi na ako pinansin ni mommy at hinila pabalik sa table namin. I saw dad's worrying face when he saw that I'm with mom. He knew something happened.

After an hour ay umuwi na rin kami. Kanina pa ako pinapagilatan ni mommy dahil daw sa ginawa ko. Dapat daw kay Ashton ako sumama noong Dinagyang.

"Let her be, Helena. She's just enjoying herself." Sabi ni daddy

"Enjoying herself with a guy! Benedict!"

"And then you let her go with Ashton? Lalake din naman si Ashton."

"God, don't tell me you're siding her?!" Tsaka ako tinuro ni mommy kaya napayuko na lang ako.

"She's my daughter, Helena. Of course I will side her."

Mommy looked at me furiously before she walked towards me while stamping her feet.

"You will never see that guy anymore, Selene!" Sigaw niya sakin

"M-Mom.."

"What?! You're going to talk back at me? Yon ba ang natutunan mo sa kakasama mo sa lalakeng yon?!" I immediately shook my head habang tumutulo yung mga luha ko.

"H-Hindi mommy.."

"Helena, stop it."

"Stop crying! I told you never cry in front of me!"

Lumapit si daddy sakin at niyakap ako. I hugged him too habang humihikbi.

"Shh, it's okay princess, you can cry. Come on, pumasok na tayo sa kwarto mo."

Dinala na ako ni daddy sa kwarto bago siya umupo sa tabi ko at niyakap ako.

"D-Dad, ba't ganon si mommy? Ayaw ba niya sakin?"

I never break down like this before, yes I cried many times because of this pero hindi katulad ng ganito. I just felt I need to let this out.

"Don't say that princess, you know hindi totoo yon"
