Who was he?

At the Del Fierro Group Headquarters, a familiar figure sits in his large manager's chair. Wearing a jet black coat, and golden jewelry, made an impression of wealth and power.  He had an imposing stance, which strikes fear in the company's board.

It was Don Salvador del Fierro, the patriarch of the Del Fierro clan, the much-feared family of the manananggal. Even at his old age, Don Salvador still retained his mature look and state of health, due to the fact that he is a supernatural being, being of manananggal lineage.

By his side was his equally attractive second wife, Madam Sylvia Ortega, the famous mangkukulam, and media personality who is known to cast spells on live TV.  She was a known psychic that can cast love spells to couples and heal ailments to the sick but also can cast curses to anyone whom her client is requesting. Many celebrities and famous politicians come to her and give her bribes to curse their rivals or family members. Her marriage with Don Salvador gave much media attention because of how Don Salvador came to be in the Del Fierro Group.

Don Salvador and Madam Sylvia had two children together: Alice the CEO and vice-president of the DF Group, is a fashion model and interior designer, and Jeremy, the COO and treasurer, is a chef, sommelier, and mixologist.

Alice is a well-known socialite who ramps in many international fashion circles and is known for her mysterious mixes of gothic and minimalist design elements in her works. Some of the most notorious rich people come to her to design their living spaces, including big-time politicians, leaders of criminal syndicates, pedophiles, and occult personalities.

Meanwhile, Jeremy runs a controversial fine-dining restaurant, that has been reported to allegedly have dishes and drinks that contain special ingredients that are said to make couples fall in love, make someone hallucinate, or, if by request, get mind controlled. One of his original cocktails, the "Blood of Innocents", actually contained human blood in the recipe.

By this time, both Alice and Jeremy were still young college teenagers about to finish their degrees, but had begun their careers through the businesses they inherited from their parents.

One day, a phone call came into Alice's phone. It was her secretary, Tabby, calling.

"Yes? Are you gonna ruin my day?", answers Alice.

"No, ma'am. We have press people are coming to our building for an interview," replies Tabby.

"For what? For my latest fashion line?", asks Alice.

"No, ma'am. It's something different," Tabby answers, "it's for last night's incident in the DF Hotel."

"What? What incident?", Alice asks.

"It was about a manananggal who appeared in the hotel parking lot. Do you know anything about that, madam?", Tabby replied.

Alice's blood ran cold. "Can you ask them the monster's gender? Was it a man or a woman?", she asked.

Tabby answers, "A man."

Alice holds the line. She asked her brother Jeremy where he was last night.

"Jeremy, weren't you at the party last night?", she asked.

"I was at the kitchen and bar the whole time," said Jeremy, "but I heard about this kid named Miguel, the famous model kid we have. I saw him there."

Alice began to think about someone.

"Tell the press to leave. We'll issue an official statement," asks Alice.

"Alright ma'am, but they are giving us the footage from the hotel, mind if I send this to you?", asks Tabby.

"Sure, go ahead.", Alice agreed.

Alice asks Jeremy, "Do we remember any of Dad's minions doing duty last night at the Hotel?"

Jeremy shrugs, "I don't think so, they were here in the Towers. And I don't think they're on monster duty either, although it's a full moon."

"Then who could that guy be?", Jeremy asks, "Is he someone we know?"

"We gotta tell Dad," said Alice.
