The chaos that had erupted in San Roque's town plaza was slowly settling, but the tension remained palpable. The streets were littered with debris from the panicked crowd that had fled the manananggal attack. Lights flickered on and off, casting eerie shadows across the buildings. Amidst this scene, a lone car made its way cautiously through the town.

Don Salvador del Fierro, with his stern visage and determined eyes, navigated the narrow streets, his mind racing with thoughts of his wife, Sylvia. Beside him, his bodyguard, a young man named Rafael, scanned the surroundings with growing unease.

"Sir, do you think we should proceed? The police said the town is under attack," Rafael asked, his voice trembling slightly.

"We must find Sylvia," Don Salvador replied with a steely resolve. "I can't leave without knowing she's safe."

As they approached the town plaza, the scene of the earlier chaos came into full view. The remnants of the beauty pageant stage stood as a stark reminder of the night's events, now eerily quiet under the dim streetlights. Suddenly, a movement in the sky caught Rafael's eye. He looked up to see a female manananggal minion soaring above them, her eyes locking onto the car.

"Sir, look!" Rafael exclaimed, pointing upwards.

Don Salvador followed his gaze, his expression hardening. "Get ready," he said, gripping the steering wheel tighter.

The manananggal minion wasted no time, immediately flying off towards the direction of Alice and Jeremy's hideout to warn them of Don Salvador's presence.

Meanwhile, at the Calachuchi Inn, Pastor Kevin and the male elders continued their vigilant guard at the entrance. The atmosphere inside was tense, with everyone anxiously waiting for news. Dr. Earl Kumar, standing by a window facing the town plaza, squinted into the darkness.

"Pastor Kevin, come look at this," Dr. Kumar called out.

Pastor Kevin joined him at the window, peering outside. "What is it, Doctor?"

"I think that's Don Salvador del Fierro," Dr. Kumar replied, pointing towards the car. "He's here in San Roque. And I have a feeling he's looking for Sylvia."

A murmur of concern spread through the room. Sylvia, sitting in a corner with Miriam and Elijah, overheard the conversation and felt a chill run down her spine.

"What if he finds me?" Sylvia whispered, her voice trembling. "I don't know how he'll react now that I've changed."

Miriam placed a comforting hand on Sylvia's shoulder. "We'll protect you, Sylvia. You're not alone in this."

Elijah nodded in agreement. "We need to stay calm and figure out our next steps. We can't let him cause more harm."

Pastor Kevin turned to address the room. "We must prepare for whatever comes next. Sylvia, stay here with the women and children. Dr. Kumar, can you keep an eye on the plaza from here?"

"Of course," Dr. Kumar replied, returning to his post by the window.

Outside, Don Salvador had parked the car and was making his way towards the remnants of the pageant stage. The town plaza was deserted, but the feeling of being watched was undeniable. He scanned the area, his heart heavy with a mixture of hope and dread.

"Sylvia!" he called out, his voice echoing in the empty plaza. "Sylvia, where are you?"

From her vantage point, the female manananggal minion watched as Don Salvador searched. She smirked, knowing that Alice and Jeremy would be eager to learn of his arrival.

"Now that their Daddy's in town, I hope Madam Alice and Sir Jeremy are in for a ride!", the female manananggal whispered and chuckled to herself.

Back at the Calachuchi Inn, the elders huddled together, discussing their next move. "If Don Salvador is here, we need to be ready for anything," Travis, one of the elders, said.
