The Armor

Jeremy found Miguel, whom he thought was still Alexander, leaving the Orange Fields Condominium, and thought of reporting it to his sister Alice. But first, he has to leave the area unnoticed. The concrete jungle was a great hiding place for him, as the waning moon proved to be a weak source of light to the dark night. Immediately, Jeremy transformed to his manananggal form and flew away, legs intact, from the district back to the DF Towers.

As he arrived at the DF Towers penthouse, he saw his mother Madam Sylvia. 

"Mom, I just found Miguel... er... Alexander! He's with Miguel's girlfriend Tabby at her home!", told Jeremy.

"Good report, son. Did you sense anything about him?", asked Sylvia.

"I don't sense anything out of the ordinary, Mom, seems nothing happened about him with Tabby. It looked like a normal night.", told Jeremy.

Sylvia grew furious, "Those faith-based freaks! They are trying to suppress Salvador's firstborn with their prayers! They will never let the prince of the manananggal attack their household! Well then, my son, we need to do something before they even defeat us!"

Alice arrived at the penthouse, "What's happening?", she asked.

"Well, our brother Alexander was at Tabitha's home again. It seemed nothing happened to him that would threaten her family!", Jeremy responded.

"My daughter, have you ever tried giving Alexander some... shall we say.. 'special powers'?", Sylvia asked Alice.

"What's that, Mom?", asked Alice.

"It's almost a new moon, our forces are weak, but I can let out Alexander into Miguel's body again and induce his rage and fury against that Changco family. Isn't that a good idea, Alice?", told Sylvia. Alice agreed.

"Well then," Sylvia proposed, "as your ever-loving mother, I am taking that ugly kid Miguel into the ride of his life..." Sylvia laughed in a sinister way.

The famous mangkukulam prepared the materials to initiate the ritual to stimulate Alexander's presence even on a new moon. Once complete, she did a ritual dance and chant for the powerful spell to be cast upon the soul of Alexander.

As the spell is being cast, the soul of Alexander inside Miguel's body awakened, and felt an energy he only feels during a full moon, and as such, he approached Miguel's soul - Miguel was actually dreaming at this time.

"Hi Miguel, payback time," told Alexander. He pushed Miguel with his bare hands. Miguel was thrown away into a wall. 

Alexander challenged Miguel to fight him. "Well, you puny freak, I came here just to let you know that Tabitha and her family will be in danger soon. That is until you can defeat me."

Alexander then punched Miguel like a heavyweight boxing champion. All the punches Miguel received physically manifested in his sleeping body. In bed, he looked like he was heavily injured from a fistfight.

Soon after, Alexander took over Miguel's body, and immediately Miguel transformed into Alexander the manananggal. 

Seeing the victory of Alexander, his stepmother Sylvia laughed in excitement.

"Hi hi hi, that's my handsome boy... now attack the freaky Changco family!", Sylvia said.

Little did Alexander know, something more powerful than him will overcome his schemes.

Miguel's soul was heavily injured, but it did not stop him to pursue Alexander. At that moment, he prayed to the Father:

"Father, I have been weakened, but you told me that you have given us the power to cast out demons, and be able to fight against the principalities of this dark world. Please help me with this fight in the name of Jesus. Amen."

Suddenly, a stream of light came unto him. It was a troop of angels coming towards him.

One of the angels told Miguel, "God's servant and warrior, Miguel, someone has been praying for you and we have come here to grant their prayer. Take this spiritual armor."

Miguel's soul received the spiritual armor - the Armor of God in all its glory. Soon enough the angels went with him to fight back the demonic entity Alexander.
