You walked over to John after the fight with the Dora Milaje "They weren't even super soldiers." He said still stunned about how he was defeated

"Still think your worthy of this shield?" You asked picking it up, but when you picked it up a blue vial fell out. The serum. "What the hell?" You picked it up as John stood up

"That's nothing! Give it back!" He reached for it but you backed away, now holding tight in your fist

"Just when I think you can't prove yourself to be an even worse human being, you prove me wrong! Are you fucking serious?! I mean how are you even friends with this guy?" You pointed to Lemar

"Y/n, just give it back." John stated trying to look intimidating

"No. John you may have the shield and the outfit, but that doesn't make you captain America! You know what does? Your decisions! And so far you have made shit decisions and I'm sure you will continue to do so!" You yelled

"Like what?" He scoffed

"When you got impatient you walked in and spooked Karli even though Sam was getting some where with her! You act like Bucky is still who he used to be! AND YOU ACT LIKE YOU HAVE ALL THE POWER IN THE WORLD! News flash John you don't!" You yelled at him as you turned around about to walk out the door shield in hand not caring if he would chase after you

"I know Steve made some bad decisions." He said causing you to stop dead in your tracks and drop both items the shield clanging as it fell and the vial shattering on the floor. You turned to the man who still stood there with his head held high not caring about the words that fell out of his mouth

"Don't you dare compare yourself to Steve, ever. Steve was more selfless, rational, responsible and honorable than you'll ever be. You don't know half the shit he went through. He worked his ass of for that shield and you got it handed to you on a silver platter. So you can call yourself captain America, but you'll never be captain America." You said and picked the shield back up

"Y/n, wait." Sam said and you turned to him

"Sam, I'll be at home with your other sister." You said to your brother and walked out with the shield. You heard the door open once again knowing damn well who it was

"I can't let you take the shield." John said

"Well, it's a good thing I didn't ask." Luckily you had wings just like Sam so you took off but not before you made a big middle finger in the sky with a little note at the end that read
