Based off season 5 ep 20 'show me going'

Jake and Boyle walked into the precinct where everyone was huddled around a walkie talkie at Ginas' desk. "What's going on?" Jake questioned

"There's an active shooter in a hotel in Brooklyn heights. Multiple casualties. ESU is en route, and nearby officers are responding to the scene right now." Holt told his team and what they heard after made their hearts stop

"Diaz, 3118, show me going." The walkie talkie caught

"3118, I have you going."

"Y/l/n, 3275, show me going."

"3275, I have you going."

"Rosa and y/n are there." Jake said as tears started to well up in his eyes. Holt called a meeting in the brefing room and so everyone was in there quickly

"There's limited information about the situation in Brooklyn heights, but I did manage to speak to the captain at the 9-7, who offered an update." Holt said

"Do we know how many shooters?" Jake asked

"Two, possibly three. Again the situation's still developing, but as of now, there are three dead and multiple wounded, all civilians." That made Jake calm down just a little, but he was still stressed knowing his fiancé and best friend still had a chance of being shot

"So we're going up there, right? To help Rosa and y/n?" Jake questioned

"ESU is on the scene, and the 9-7 is locking down the area. It's already a zoo. They wanted us to remain on alert but not to respond." Holt directed

"Yeah, but that's just a suggestion, like how they tell you to drink eight cups of water every month." Jake said

"A day." Sargent terry jeffords corrected

"Sarge, come on. This is not the time for jokes." Jake said seriously

"No, it wasn't a suggestion. We've been ordered to go about our business as usual. I know you're all concerned for Rosa and y/n, but they're not going in alone. They're part of a massive NYPD response." Holt said

"And it's Rosa and y/n, right? I mean, they're badasses. They're the toughest of all of us. No offense guys." Amy said trying to keep things positive and everyone agreed with her

"I promise you I will keep you updated, if I learn anything. In the meantime, you all have jobs to do. Dismissed." Holt said and everyone left. Amy walked up to Jake to talk to him

"Hey, do you want me to go with you to pick up Ivy? I know your sitter is supposed to get off right now." Amy suggested. The whole reason you were getting off of work was because the sitter had to leave early for a family emergency so she called you and you were going to watch your 3 year old daughter Ivy while Jake worked, but on your way home plans changed.

"No, it's fine I got it." Jake gave a quick sad smile before leaving for home to pick up his daughter who had no idea what was happening with her mom.

Jake arrived at work with Ivy and had her sit in the break room to play with her toys while he tried to keep his mind from worrying. Terry noticed the dad worrying and walked over to him. "You ok?"

"No, what if y/n gets shot and Ivy grows up without a mom or y/n get shot and I spiral and Ivy grows up with a terrible dad and no mom." Jake sighed as he ran his hands threw his hair

"Y/n will be fine and Ivy will grow up with a mom." Sarge said trying to calm his nerves

"Thanks Sarge." Jake said and the Sarge went back to his desk as Ivy walked out of the break room with a drawing
