After Thanos snapped and you saw Bucky disintegrate you did the same thing as tony. You moved. You couldn't sit in the same room staring at the same clothes, the same photos and the same view. You moved near tony on the same lake, but far away enough to where you couldn't see his cabin. Sometimes Morgan would sneak over to you quiet cabin without tony or pepper knowing because she loved the stories you would tell her. She thought the stories you would tell her were fake, but they were mostly about you and Bucky. Five years after the snap you heard another knock on your door. You stood up and walked over expecting to see little ole Morgan, but instead you were met with Steve, Natasha and Scott. "What a pleasant surprise." You sighed opening the door more to let them in. Soon you were all siting on your couch and they started to explain why they were here.

"We found a way to get the stones back and fix everything." Natasha started

"No." You immediately shut them down

"Y/n we could save everyone." Scott cut in

"Or we could get our hopes up and fail." You pointed out

"We could get Bucky back." Steve added

"No. No. No. Don't you dare go there Steve." You said

"Y/n we need you-" Steve begged

"And I needed you. I needed someone who was going through the same amount of pain to actually understand what I was going through to help me. And maybe I could've helped you, but no." You semi shouted

"Y/n-" Natasha started before you cut her off

"I think it's best if you leave." You sighed and they did as you said not wanting to push you.

Tony ended up helping what was left of the avengers build a time machine and save everyone. Which had worked and they defeated Thanos, but you didn't know any of this because you, being the stubborn girl that you are, still didn't want to get your hopes up. Today marked the 6th year after the snap, the day you lost the love of your life. You grabbed your guitar and walked out onto the porch that had the best view of the lake. You did this every year, you felt like it helped you, but because you made this as a duet for you and Bucky you never actually sang the whole song.

You stopped strumming the guitar putting it down beside your chair and standing up, instantly wrapping your arms around him. "You have no idea how much I missed you." You said as tears fell

"I missed you too, doll." He said as he kissed the top of your head. You lifted your head and connected you lips with his. It was like two puzzle pieces fitting together. Your fingers got themselves tangled in his shaggy hair and his hands were wrapped around your waist. You never wanted to pull away because you felt like he would slip away if you let go of him, but you both needed air so you pulled away.
