You woke up and turned over to your girlfriends side of the bed to see it empty. You sighed and knew exactly where she was. You got out of bed and walked into the living room to see Rosa sitting on the couch working on a case that has been nagging at her for weeks. "Babe, I know you're worked up about his case, but not getting any sleep isn't gonna help." You said sitting next to her and putting your head on her shoulder

"If I don't figure this out it's just gonna keep nagging at me." Rosa said. A girl was murdered in her apartment but she was the only one home and the security cameras showed no one in or out.

"Is it the case or is it what we're doing tomorrow." You said. Tomorrow Rosa was meeting your parents for the first time and she was very nervous

"Both." She mumbled

"Look at me." She turned to you "I know you're thinking 'what if my girlfriends parents hate me? Or what if I mess up at dinner?' But my parents are very open minded and aren't quick to judge. Even if they don't like you they can't control who I date. No matter their opinion I will always choose you." You said kissing her when you guys pulled away she gasped and ran to the door gabbing her jacket, gun and badge.

"You're the best girlfriend ever! And a genius! I love you!" She said running out the door leaving you stunned that was the first time she has said I love you. You stood up and ran to the door and leaned out in the hall

"I love you, too!"
