To say you were petrified was an understatement. You were an up and coming artist so SNL called and asked if you wanted to perform on a show. You said yes immediately because A. You've watched SNL every Saturday you could B. It would boost your carrier and C. You would work with your boyfriend. But now as your had 5 minutes until you went on live you were second guessing yourself. "What if they hate me?" You turned to ask Colin

"They won't, I promise." He said grabbing your shoulders

"But what if I mess up and then my album doesn't do well? Or I forget the words to my own song? Oh no, what if I forget the words and- an-" he cut you off before you spiraled

"Honey, look at me. You're not gonna forget the words. And if you stumble it's ok, it's a live show and no one's perfect. If you mess up I'll wear my tie weird and purposefully mess up when I do weekend update. But you got this, ok? You're y/n fucking y/l/n and you're gonna kill it out there." He told you making you smile and you're nerves calm

"What would I do with out you?" You asked

"Probably, go crazy." He joked and you smacked his arm jokingly

"I love you."

"I love you too. Now, do me a favor and go kill it out there." He said and you have him a quick loving kiss as you walked over to the stage entrance

You did end up killing it but at some point during your song your voice cracked, but you couldn't really blame yourself because it was a hard note to hit especially with nerves of it being live. When you were done it was time for weekend update and Colin stuck to his promise. When the camera stopped on him you saw he had his tie on his head and Che was just staring at him like he was crazy. "Colin, why is your tie like that?" Che asked

"Because I made a promise. Now, let's get to the news." Colin stated as him and Che went on as normal, but Colin would stutter a few times and stumble on his words. You were absolutely star struck at the man you were lucky enough to call your boyfriend.

When you both got home after the show you showered Colin with kisses. "What's this for?" He asked laughing

"I'm just showing my amazing boyfriend how much I love him." You said kissing him on the lips

"Well, I love you too." He mumbled against your lips as you dragged him into the bedroom. If someone was standing in the hall they would see Colins tie fly out of the room and the door slamming behind it.
