Taehyung's eyes stared at the snowy ground and then went out of focus. A feint purple flickered before staying permanently. Eden looked up at Jungkook with urgency. "Hurry. We don't have time. Whatever this is, it's restraining me. I won't be able to be out for long. The pain is severe, but I should be able to hold on for at least another minute if Taehyung doesn't try to interfere."

Jungkook held in a sigh of relief, turning and pulling his mate onto his back so he'd already be there when he shifted. As the light from the shift was wrapping around him, he retreated into his mind to find Rhae.

"Rhae, I'm going to give you absolute control. No restrictions. Nothing. Protect him."

Jungkook blacked out and his wolf took over, a brilliant red shining in his eyes. Within merely a few seconds, Rhae had quickly maneuvered his body around the tree and to the perch the gunman had chosen. He slammed his body in the trunk so hard that the man fell from it, screaming and falling silent upon impact with the ground. It went as he'd planned, though it hurt Eden more than he'd anticipated. He received a spirited slap to the head and several curses of pain.

"Don't be reckless. Taehyung is letting me out right now because he trusts Jungkook. If the pain gets any worse than this he'll force me to let go." The purple signifying Eden's presence became dimmer and flickered once. "Hurry and get out of here."

"Right" Rhae sprinted off through the the trees, trying to keep his passenger steady.

 Forty seconds passed and they made it through the trees. The rest was an open field and would be easier to tackle.

"Shit." Rhae stopped dead in his tracks. His body lowered ever so slightly, ready to fight, and a growl so loud and angry it shook the snow off of the trees behind him echoed from his throat.

"What? What's wrong?" Eden popped his head up and then dread filled his entire body. They were surrounded. Hunters surrounded them from the front and more came from the between the trees in the back, each with a different weapon. "Oh god...."

"Hmmm...there's that purple I love to see. It seems a bit faded. I suppose that's because of the idiot who missed. My sincerest apologies, sir." A man stepped between the men and women in black trench coach that had lined up to form a circle around them. Unlike the rest of them, he wore a white suit that complemented his silvery white hair. "You must be Taehyung's wolf. I haven't heard much about you specifically, but I do look forward to our conversations in the future."

"Who the hell are you?" Eden pushed himself up into a seated position, though Rhae protested against it.

"Me? You don't need to worry about that. I'll take care of your arm there, so come with me willingly and I'll make sure they're extra nice." The man smiled and held out a hand.

"Sorry, I don't think so." Eden slipped down off of Rhae's back and found a seat in the snow.he whispered quietly to his counterpart, "I can't hold on while you fight. Just try not to step on me please."

Rhae chuckled. "Stepping on you is the least of my worries, Honey."

"Hmmm I must say, I'm disappointed. Surprised? No. But disappointed. I mean... after everything Takuya said about Taehyung..." The man used big gestures, walking around just in front of the perimeter.

That was the last this that tore Eden away from his control. "What the hell did you do to him!?"

The man in white smirked. "Hello, Taehyung. It's a pleasure to meet you. What makes you think I did anything to him? He gave away everything about you of his own free will."
