Taehyung's heart nearly stopped. Nervousness and fear shot through him like a lightning strike. "Oh god.....oh shit....." He covered his mouth as he stared at Jimin.

"Erm.....what? Is that a problem? Isn't that stuff out of your control? I though your mate was predetermined by fate or whatever." Jisoo looking between Jimin and Taehyung with confusion blatantly obvious on her face.

"Yeah.....you don't have control over your mate, but there are ways to predict who it's going to be." Jimin looked up to their human friend to explain. "Taehyung was the only omega in our pack before the new people arrived, not to mention the fact that he's male. Hoseok is a moon alpha and the next head of the pack. They were basically bound to be mates. It seemed obvious enough, but Mr. Jung talked to an oracle anyways and she said that he was bound to have a unique mate, a.k.a. a male omega like Taehyung. That just confirmed things more....but now..."

"Now all of the expectations have been disproven. Why is it a problem though? Why does it matter who his mate it?" Jisoo lifted an eyebrow in inquiry.

"Ugh if only you could've told that to our ancestors like millions of years ago. It's too hard to explain to you now, but basically, Taehyung's life could be in danger if Hoseok finds out and gets mad. It's a tradition thing....." Jimin drifted off a bit as he read a random message he had received on his phone, trying not to stress about the situation too much. "Anyway.....that's the basics of it. We should probably head to class now. I don't want to deal with Mrs. Han getting mad at me again for being late."

"Yeah.....Lets just get the day over with. I really just want to go home right now." Taehyung groaned and stood up, making his way out of the lifeless locker room. "Let's go losers."

Jin sighed as he looked up at Jungkook's room from his seat in the living room. The second floor was set up in a way where all of the bedrooms were visible from the first. It was pretty convenient for keeping an eye on someone, much like Seokjin was doing. "Joon....do you think he's okay? He's only 18 and I heard Taehyung's dad didn't let him mark the poor omega. He's probably stressed out....you should go talk to him. You alphas can sympathize."

"Just leave him be hyung. He's probably sleeping right now. He held back for more than an entire week; he's probably exhausted." Namjoon kissed Jin's temple, pulling his mate further into his embrace. "Your scent's been getting stronger by the way......what day is it again?"

Jin sighed and leaned into Namjoon, shivering a bit when he felt the warmth of his alpha's breath against his skin. "Don't get excited....I'm not supposed to go into heat for another week and a half. It's probably just all the stress recently."

"Then how about we take some time just me and you? Let's relax a bit. That sounds nice right?" Namjoon nuzzled his nose against Jin's neck, right under his jaw. "It could be very helpful."

"No, I don't think I can right now. Sorry babe...Maybe later. There's too many things to do." Jin sighed and stood up, going back to the house work he had been doing before: dusting off surfaces, vacuuming, and unpacking the remains of the few things they had brought along.

Namjoon closed his eyes when his mate stood up, cursing himself out for even trying to bring up having some intimate time to themselves. It was too early for that. He already knew that they probably wouldn't have anything close to sex for a while, excluding heat days. Only a few weeks ago, they had witnessed their entire pack of roughly 2,000 wolves get slaughtered mercilessly. He was amazed that everyone had held together as well as they had, even though he knew it was all just a front so as not to worry one another. "Hmm let me help. I don't want to sit and do nothing all day." He stood up and followed Jin around, helping straighten things up.

"Hey....what time is it?" Jungkook leaned against the railing that kept him from falling to the first floor, having came out of his room without alerting Namjoon or Jin.

"Hm? Oh you're awake. It's.....3:46 right now. You missed lunch. Want me to fix something up for you?" Jin set down his cleaning rag and looked up to the youngest who shook his head tiredly.

"Nah....I have to go in a couple of minutes. I have to figure out the whole school thing, so I need to go into town and talk with the dean of students or whatever." Jungkook walked back into his room and got changed, fixing his hair in the process so that he was more presentable. After a few minutes, he snuck out of the house unnoticed. He made his way to the town the pack lived next to.

As Jungkook walked up to the high school he was planning on finishing his final year in, he noticed his mate walking out of the building with a few others. He couldn't help but smile and walk up to them. "Taehyung, I thought you would've left already since you guys are getting out early today. Why are you still here?"

Taehyung's head shot up as a very familiar scent registered in his mind, one he thought he might become addicted to. "Oh- Jungkook. Um we had to clean up the classroom today. Why are you here though? You don't even go here." He could feel himself involuntarily stepping a bit closer to the alpha.

"I have a meeting with the dean of students to figure out my schedule and stuff. I'm transferring here." Jungkook skimmed his eyes over the rest of the people there. Three of the five were humans. "I should probably get going. I don't want to be late...." He leaned down and left a quick kiss on Taehyung's head before heading into the building.

"Oooooooooooo Tae~" All of Taehyung's friend nudged him teasingly. "He's so hot!!! How did you even get a man like that?" Jisoo smiled widely as she started asking questions.

"Wait.....since when has Tae liked guys?" One of the humans in the back, HyunKi, asked. "I thought he liked girls."

"Oh shush. He thought he only liked girls, but that man came along and an inhuman attraction started. It's cute." Jimin snapped back a bit, thinking that HyunKi was acting homophobic or something.

"Chim, calm yourself. I really just want to go home right now. Let's go. My mom said she was gonna make brownies for us." Taehyung smiled at his friend and grabbed his hand, dragging him away from the others and down the road, waving a few times before completely disappearing.
