Several hours had past since the final bell of the day had rung and the sun was starting to go down. Taehyung and Jungkook had decided to stay late in order to get some extra help with homework, though Jimin ended up leaving early to get some more rest.

"All done! Time to go home and have dinner!!" Taehyung raised his arms in excitement as the two boys walked through the halls together.

"Why'd you make me stay so long? I could've figured it out at home..." Jungkook wore a tired expression, glad it was finally over, but upset he had to go through all that in the first place.

"I know you could've, but you wouldn't have. You're pretty smart, but you're lazy at the same time. Seriously, if you just put in some more effort, you'd be in the top students of your class!" Taehyung huffed before continuing, "Well, I suppose it doesn't matter that much. As long as you're happy with your life, then you can study however you want."

Jungkook smiled and kissed his boyfriend's head. "I'm glad you think that way. All I want is for us to be happy together."

"Me too. Oh!" Taehyung stopped walking and waved to Takuya, who had just stepped out of a classroom. "Are you going home too?"

"Yeah..." He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "I've gotta get good grades on this test or I don't think I'll pass."

"You can always ask me for help too." Taehyung continued to walk, wrapping his arm around his friend's shoulders to bring him along. "I'm already helping this idiot anyway."

Jungkook rolled his eyes. He held his gaze on the foreign student for a bit, but decided to stick to the words he spoke earlier that day, and give the kid a chance. "It's getting pretty dark out. Do you have someone to pick you up,Takuya?"

"Huh? No, everyone is still at work. I'll be fine walking, though."

"What? But it gets dark so fast in the winter. Let us give you a ride!" Taehyung looked at Jungkook quickly for confirmation that it would be alright, instantly turning happier when he received a curt nod.

"No, I have to get home early tonight. You guys should too.." Takuya glanced nervously between them and then to a window, staring at the colors of the sunset for a few seconds.

"That's all the more reason for us to give you a ride! You'll get home faster by car." Taehyung pulled his arm away as the reached the front doors. "Come on. I promise Jungkook won't be mean. He's getting over what happened before. I swear. He even agreed to give you a lift!"

Takuya looked at Jungkook for a moment, then sighed heavily. "Alright, but just this once since it'll get me there faster."

"Yay! Let's get to the car." Taehyung dragged his friend to the vehicle and let him slide into the back before getting into the front passenger seat.

"So why do you guys drive to school?" Takuya asked as he buckled up.

"The bud doesn't come by where we live, and it's too far to walk." Jungkook answered and he secured himself and then started the car.

"Oh...that makes sense. Did your parents buy you this car then? It's really nice." Takuya observed how Jungkook's hands tightened around the steering wheel.

"No...I have a job. I got it myself." There was an uncomfortable silence, but it was broken rather quickly. "Where do you live?"

"There's a house behind the big bank at the edge of town. That's where I live..." Takuya spoke softly, nervously looking out the window as the car rolled into motion. "Please hurry. I don't have much time left..."

"Hm? Do you have something to do tonight?" Taehyung turned his head to look at his friend. "Hey, are you alright? You look kind of pale."

"Yeah...I just didn't eat much for lunch. I'll be fine."
