Alonso's Point of View

Mabilis kaming nakapasok sa loob ng bar. The bouncer outside happened to be my schoolmate back in highschool, kaya hindi na kami nagkaroon pa ng problema.

Sumama sa'kin si Storm papunta rito. He overheard our conversation and demanded that he'll come along with me. I was against it at first. Ayokong madamay pa siya but just like his sister, who is also as hardheaded as him ay nagpumilit pa ring sumama. I did try locking him in his room but sh't, this boy kicked the d'mn door open.

"I don't like this place," walang ka-emo-emosyong sabi niya.

Napailing ako. Siya ang nagpumilit na sumama rito pero siya pa ang may ganang mag-reklamo.

"Stop being a brat and endure it. We have to make sure your sister is safe."

Pinipigilan ko lang ang sarili kong 'wag patumbahin ang g'gong D'Mitri na 'yon.

Of all the places, why there? Bakit kailangan niyang sunduin si Val? He even managed to get his ass inside the mansion. What a scumbag.

"Big sis has consistently not been participating in our training sessions for the past few months. Are you certain that she can handle this fvcking cage fighting?" nag-aalalang tanong niya.

"Watch your mouth boy," suway ko sa kaniya. He rolled his eyes in response. "I couldn't stop Val. Kilala mo ang kapatid mo, when she made up her mind on something she will not back down from it. But I'm sure she can survive this."

He stayed quiet, doesn't seem satisfied with my answers. Storm is very different from his two brothers. He's always serious, always distant when it comes to interacting with other people and very austere. However, he's not like that when he's around his sister and brothers.

"I didn't expect to see you here," someone said behind me.

I remained still when I realized who it was. Storm and I looked at each other. Katulad ko ay hindi rin siya nakagalaw sa kinatatayuan.

"So, what brings you to Nightshade?"

My jaw ticks. I turned around, only to be greeted by his intense gaze. Nanatili akong kalmado and maintained a demeanor of being unemotional.

He's acting fast. Labing limang minuto pa lang simula ng makarating kami rito pero napansin niya na agad kami. Pansin kong napapalibutan na kami ng mga kasamahan niya, judging by the way they look at me and Storm.

"It seems like you're forgetting something, Alonso. You're in our territory, yet you have the audacity to come here unguarded. And you even brought a kid along with you," he said mockingly, grinning.

"What did you just say?" pagalit na sabat ni Storm.

I felt him approaching but before he could get close to D'Mitri, I tightly grabbed his arm.

"Don't," I whispered, trying to warn him.

Mukhang wala na akong magagawa. I didn't bring anyone with me dahil alam kong makakaagaw iyon ng atensyon. But this d'mn guy found us much earlier than I anticipated.

"I won't tell you anything unless we're alone. Therefore, I'd like to talk to you in private," mariin kong sabi.

Hindi siya sumagot, tila ba nagdadalawang isip. Sa huli ay iniwan niya ang mga tuta niya roon. Sinundan siya namin ni Storm papunta sa isang kwarto sa ikalawang palapag nitong gusali.

Nang makapasok kami ay agad siyang nagtanong. "Tell me, anong sadya mo rito? You're here for Valerie, for sure."

I glanced at Storm before speaking, "Hindi ako nandito para kay Val," pagsisinungaling ko. It made his eyebrow curve. "Nag-aalala lang itong kapatid niya sa kaniya, kaya sinamahan ko siya." Tinuro ko si Storm.
