Chapter 35: Getting Deceived

Cassie didn't remember much of the way back home after they found Allison. All she knew was that now all four siblings, Pogo and her were standing in the med room watching as Grace analyzed the deep cut in Allison's neck.

Allison was somehow still showing vitals but neither of the siblings knew for sure if their sister was going to make it. The whole situation was very nerve-racking for everyone.

"She suffered a severe laceration to her larynx. One of you will need to give blood." Grace said turning to look at all 3 grown men who were standing back.

"I will." Everyone in the room except for Pogo said in unison.

"I'm doing it." Luther said over everyone coming forward ready to give anything necessary for Allison to be fine.

"I'm afraid that's not possible, dear boy." Pogo said getting the attention of everyone. "Your blood is more compatible with mine." He explained as Luther just looked disappointed knowing that if it wasn't because of what his father did to him he wouldn't have this inconvenience.

"Hey, don't sweat it. I— I got this, big guy. I love needles." Klaus said ready to get stabbed by the needle clearly very anxious about his sister's current state.

"Master Klaus. Your blood is... How shall I say this? Too polluted." Pogo said to Klaus knowing that he wasn't fit to donate either. Cassie turned to look at Pogo about to open her mouth wanting to offer herself but instantly got shut down by Pogo. "You and Master Five are too young." He said turning to look at Diego who was the only one left who was fit to donate.

"Technically we're—" Cassie began to say before getting cut off by Diego. She felt like at this point her 'age' shouldn't matter, the only thing that did was making sure Allison got out of this alive.

"Move." Diego said stepping forward.

"Yeah, go on." Luther said moving aside for Diego to stand next to Grace.

"I'll do it." Diego said looking at Grace and as soon as she pulled up the needle he instantly fainted.

"Stick him." Pogo said to Grace as all the other siblings stared at Diego who laid on the ground unconscious.

After pulling an all-nighter it was now the next day's morning and Diego, Klaus, Five and Cassie were now downstairs in the living room trying to figure out what to do next. It seemed like Allison was going to be okay the only concern now was that Harold Jenkins and Vanya were still nowhere to be found.

Cassie stood in the living room next to Five taking a look over at Klaus who just sat on the couch looking severely anxious. The girl instantly knew that it was because of his newfound sobriety and he was most likely experiencing withdrawal syndrome. She quickly switched her attention to Diego who was pacing back and forth in the living room in deep thought about something that was clearly bothering him.

"Are you going to say something or...?" Cassie said looking at Diego knowing that he was most likely thinking the same as her.

"That bastard that nearly killer our sister's still out there, with Vanya." Diego said turning to look at both Five and Cassie. "We need to go after her." He said clearly concerned about the whole situation.

"Vanya is not important." Five said breaking his silence getting the attention of both Cassie and Diego.

"Hey, that's your sister. A little heartless even for you, Five." Diego snapped at Five.

"Don't you realize that Vanya could be in far more danger than Allison? At this point, it would be a miracle if we find her alive." Cassie said looking at Five as she couldn't believe he just said Vanya wasn't important. After all, Diego was right she was still their sister and therefore they need to look after her.
