This stupid question.
Judge the equivalent resistance when the batteries......
"What will I do if the resistance of these batteries or whatever the shit it is will be— wait what?"
Esmeralda banged her head on the table in frustration, closed her book and threw the pen on the table.
She never understood the point of studying all this bullshit anyway.
It's not like she was gonna use those stupid formulas. The only formulas in her life were DNA-altering chemical ones.
She sat next to the window on her chair and her eyes widened when she saw her mother coming back from the bakery.
Esmeralda hopped from her chair and ran to her mother, accidentally bumping into Raiden.
She was having difficulty in solving the questions and hence had asked Raiden to come and help her.
"Sorry, Ray."
She opened the door and hugged her mother who laughed a bit and hugged her back.
"So what have you been up to?"
"Nothing mama. I had asked Raiden to come and help me with my homework. It's just so difficult."
"Homework sucks doesn't it?" Estella asked nodding in understanding.
Estella knew that she would become a mother like this. Telling her kids that homework was horrible and taking them out for coffee and such things.
Speaking of coffee Estella spoke up, "Hey would you two like to go for coffee and a few pastries?"
"Yes." Esmeralda and Raiden said simultaneously.
Estella went to the room and took out her purse. She stuffed it with money and walked out to see Raiden and Esmeralda sitting on the couch sharing a tiny chocolate bar.
Estella smiled and cleared her throat making the kids look at her with a sheepish smile.
"Let's go?"
Esmeralda and Raiden stuffed the remaining chocolate in their mouth and jumped off the couch.
They both ran towards the car and Estella locked the door. She sat in the car and strapped herself.
The engine roared to life and she hit the accelerator. The ride was silent for a while until Esmeralda broke it.
"Mama, what had happened that day?''
Raiden and Estella tensed slightly, hearing her question.
''Well.'' Estella began. ''Let's just say that your father and I have sorted things out.''
''Whatever you say mama. I'm still scared of him. I'm seriously trying my best to ignore him. You know last night at around ten I went to the kitchen to grab myself some ice cream and saw him come in. Gosh, only Satan knows how fast I grabbed the ice cream and ran upstairs.''

"Okay. One Choco Latte, one Cappuccino and one Espresso along with a Mega Chocolate Choco cake and one Blueberry Cheesecake." The waitress repeated their orders as Estella nodded in confirmation.
Estella sighed in contentment and rested her chin on top of her hand and turned to face Esmeralda and Raiden.
"So Ray. I heard you were grounded. I think that you are still grounded."
Raiden sucked in air and replied with a smile, "Well, with great difficulty I persuaded my aunt and uncle to let me go and they agreed."
Esmeralda was in a deep thought. She was deciding whether she should tell her mother about the attack or not. But it wasn't very unusual either.
