Choi Soobin!
He is the mystery of our school. He is smart and god like handsome. All the girls drool over him. Yet he is self reserved and quiet. No one thinks they have ever heard him talk. Many rumors have run through the campus from the liberal arts building to the medical building and all in between. None of the rumors have been confirmed nor denied. The rumors also start blending together. It's an awful never ending game of telephone.
"Hey (y/n) you going to the frat house this weekend for the party?" Johnny asked me putting his arm around Marks shoulder.
"Um... maybe I don't know" I replied with a smile.
"Oh come on our sister has to go. You graduate this year. Let loose and have fun." I gave to these two as always.
"Okay fine I will go for a little bit. Don't expect me to stay though!" I point my finger at them and sternly emphasize the emotion behind the sentence.
"Yes ma'am! Hey Soobin you coming tonight? We just convinced (y/n) to go so you have to" Soobin replied with just a nod to Marks question but excused himself from his lab partner and walked over to us.
"Yeah sure I'll go" he smiled. That was the first time I ever heard him talk. It was also the first time I stood so close to him. He was super tall. I had to look up just to meet eyes with him.
"Great we will see you both there. I am gonna skip class so good luck with Mark until class ends" Johnny picks up his bag and leaves ruffling marks hair and sending me a wink. I found myself shrinking and getting nervous around Soobin.
"I guess I'll see you tonight" he turned away from me and walked back to his lab partner.
"Yeah I guess so" I whispered to myself making Mark smirk.
"Are you one of his admirers?" He teased.
"Nope not at all. I think he is handsome and mysterious but I have bigger things to worry about" mark nodded understand my priorities but sensing something different in my tone.
"He made you nervous didn't he? He keeps glancing over here at you but your back is to him" I rolled my eyes and looked behind me to see him looking over at me.
"He did make me nervous but I don't know how to feel about it. Just drop the subject and focus on our lab. I don't know how you pass all you classes." Mark laughed and sent you a mini heart kiss.
"All because of you babe" I fake gagged and rolled my eyes focusing on my task.
After class I was walking out of the room when I saw Soobin standing against the wall next to the door. I looked back into the room to see if he was waiting for someone but no one was in there. I just kept walking until I felt a hand grab my wrist.
"Hey (y/n)... do you think I can have your number and maybe pick you up for the party this weekend?" I looked around flabbergasted he was talking to me. I saw Mark and Johnny whispering to each other waiting for me at the end of the hall.
"Um yeah sure" I took a sticky note and a pen scribbling my number in the piece of paper with my name and handed it to him. He was rubbing the back of his head nervously.
"Thanks! I'll see you around beautiful!" He smiled big making his dimples deepen and his eyes disappear.
I made my way to the crackhead whispering and shushing each other even pushing each other to stop talking.
"So what was that about? Johnny asked leaning against the wall.
"Um... nothing he just asked for my phone number nothing else" I shrugged and started to walk away.
