(Y/N) was on a date at her favorite coffee shop she always went to multiple times a day. The barista was madly in love with her but always made a fool of himself when it came to talking to her. Soobin sat behind the counter watching (Y/N) not Engage in the awful date she was on.
"Should I go help her?" Soobin asked his co-worker.
"You can't even say Hi to her how are you going to help her?" Beomgyu asked patting his back.
"No Idea but she needs it and I need to try. Watch my back please" Soobin made his way over to the Table (Y/N) and her date was at with the drinks they ordered.
"Thank you," The guy said and started talking again. Soobin had an Idea and went back behind the counter.
"I am clocking out now. Tell (Y/N) to have her things in her hands and be ready." He told Beomgyu and got his things.
"What are you going to do?" Beomgyu asked.
"You'll see just tell her" Beomgyu walked over to (Y/N) and handed her a note with the instructions. Soobin walked out and took a hold of (Y/N)'s hand bolting out the door and running down the sidewalk until they were far enough away to not get caught.
"Thank you!" (Y/N) panted trying to calm her breathing.
"No problem" Soobin chuckled panting as well.
"How can I repay you?" (Y/N) asked.
"Well... the night is still young... You want to go on a date with me?" Soobin asked rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"Can I make a suggestion?" (Y/N) asked nodding yes.
"Of course" Soobin replied quickly.
"Well... there is a light show in the middle of the city that starts in an hour. I wanted to go but the awful date didn't want to go so..." Soobin cut her off taking her hand and intertwining his fingers with hers.
"I will take you lets go" He pulled her along in the direction of the light show. They barely made it on time but still got a pretty decent seat. They sat down and watched in amazement as the trees turned different colors from the light pattern connected to the song. They had an amazing time.
"Thank you for bringing me" (Y/N) said walking closely next to Soobin.
"It was fun" Soobin replied. He noticed (Y/N) trying to warm her hands up so he took her hand closest to him and stuck it in his hoodie pocket with his. (Y/N) blushed at the sweet gesture.
"Also thank you for saving me" (Y/N) giggled.
"Was he a blind date?' Soobin asked.
"Yes, my friend set me up with him. I will be sure to knock him out for it." They laughed together and stopped in front of a building.
"You live here?" Soobin asked surprised.
"mmm Yes on the 7th floor." (Y/N) pointed up the building.
"Really I live on the 8th floor." Soobin laughed causing (Y/N) to laugh.
"Well, I guess we can walk in together and say bye in the elevator" They made their way into the building and got into the elevator pushing the buttons to ride up.
"I really had an amazing time with you tonight," Soobin says shyly.
"Me too, hope we can do something like this again." (Y/N) replies confidently.
"Don't worry we will" Soobin chuckles and the elevator door opens on the 7th floor. (Y/N) started walking out when she turned around and pecked him on the cheek.
"I'll see you later" She whispers and walks out of the elevator. Soobin touches the spot where she kissed him smiling. He got off on his floor and walked into his place plopping on the couch.
"You stole someone's date?" Yeonjun walks out of his room.
"I am guessing Beomgyu contacted you?" Soobin rolls his eyes.
"Dude you are superior for doing that!" Yeonjun praises.
"Did you know she lives on the 7th floor" Soobin sat up looking at Yeonjun.
"Who the girl? Is she (Y/N) the one that lives right beneath us?' Yeonjun asked confused.
"Oh my god, you know her?" Soobin asked flabbergasted.
"Yeah, we are acquaintances. We just talk in passing most of the time." Soobin face palmed feeling stupid he didn't know (Y/N) lived here. Their conversation got interrupted by a knock on the door.
"CHOI YEONJUN YOU SET ME UP ON A AWFUL DATE YOU DICKHEAD!" Yeonjuns eyes widened and Soobin shook his head opening the door.
"Soobin?" (Y/N) asked shocked.
"He's over there go get him" Soobin pulled her in and watched her fighting with Yeonjun.
"Yo Soobin get your girl" Yeonjun yelled for help.
"I don't see her doing anything wrong" Soobin covered his eyes laughing.
