Chapter 19

Hiccup's pov

I was standing off to the side of Astrid, Snotlout, and Fishlegs waiting for the twins and Kit to arrive. I was starting to think about Kit again. It was amazing how close we had gotten in the few days that we had known each other. She became my best friend and I hers. I was happy to have someone to talk to and didn't scorn me for being the weak Viking that I am. We even had our little secret together that nobody else knows about. And I probably wouldn't be this far with Toothless had it not been for Kit.

I smiled softly looking away from the others. I started to think of some more ways to modify the fin to function better for Toothless. I stumble forward when a light force jumps on my back. I stumble around finding my footing before I look to see Kit hanging from my neck down my back. Her feet were dangling about a foot off the ground. I thought it was adorable at how small she was. "Hi guys" She says as she dangles on my back. I was having a little bit of trouble breathing.

She felt really light. Do all girls feel this light? I grabbed her arms and hoisted her up while leaning forward. Her legs swung to my sides and I grabbed them and lifted her a little more till she was comfortably sitting on my back. She was tense for a moment then relaxed against my back. She laid closer to my back and laid her head down on my shoulder. "Tell me when Gobber gets here" She says as she falls asleep on my shoulder.

I stood there with the others looking at us strangely. I looked around confused. "What?" I ask. "Oh nothing, besides the fact that you are holding my little sister" Tuffnut says as he glares at my hands on his sisters thighs. "And you look REALLY comfortable holding her on your back" Astrid says with a smirk. I blush. "She is just my best friend you guys there is nothing else going on. I am the first friend she has made and we are just relaxed around each other" I tell them as I continue to hold Kit.

I lean forward a Little hold Kit a little more firmly on my back. I feel her chest on my back and realize how soft she is. She shifts and snuggles closer to me rubbing her nose into my neck. It tickled a lot. Her chest squished more into my back and I start to feel hot as she squeezes me in her sleep. I let out a sigh continue to wait for Gobber while thinking about fin mechanics.

"Hello lads and lassies!" Gobber says as he waddles into the academy. "How are my students today?" He continues until he is in front of us all. "Why is Kit asleep on Hiccups back?" He asks as he sees Kit on my back. "She was tired and hopped onto my back waiting for you" I tell him as he chuckles. "I'm surprised that you have been able to hold her this whole time really" He says as he scratches his beard.

"She is actually really really light. Like she doesn't weigh more then a couple of chickens" I tell him as he looks at me. "Really?" Astrid, Snotlout and Fishlegs ask at the same time. "Oh ya she is really light. She normally lays on us when she reads to us. Tuff and I lay down side by side on our stomachs and she lays on her back on our backs and it literally feels like a chicken is sitting on our backs" Ruffnut says crossing her arms.

The next thing I know Kit was yanked from my back causing me to stumble backwards. I turn to see Snotlout holding her princess style. She had started to wake up from all the motion. She blinked a couple of times then looked around. She looked at me then got a really confused look on her face. She then looked at Snotlout her eyes fully opening and staring at the boy who was holding her. "Why are you holding me Snotlout?" She says her voice getting a chilling feel.

Snotlout looked scared for a moment. "U-ugh. I just wanted to see how light you were cause everyone kept saying that you were as light as a couple of chickens" He says then smiles flirtatiously. "You know I would love to always hold you like this" He says as he leans closer to her. I looked at her and she looked livid. "If you want to still be able to use your arms and hands then I suggest you put me down this instant" She says menacingly.

Snotlout gulped and hurriedly put her down clearly scared of the petite girl. "Now I need to repay you for groping my chest" Kit says as she looks at Snotlout. There was a mad glint in her eye. Snotlout gulped really loudly, he was clearly terrified. Kit started to advance on the boy who was the same height at her. "This should be good" The twins say. I looked at them to see that they were mad to.

"Kick his butt sis! Teach him to never touch you again" Tuffnut yells at her. I look over to the small girl to see her holding Snotlout by the back of his shirt. He was swinging his legs trying to get away from the very pissed off girl. Kit then grabbed the front of his shirt and put her fist up. As her fist started to rush towards his face Gobbers hand got between her fist and Snotlouts face. That didn't stop her punch though.

She continued it and it went into Gobbers palm and pushed his palm into Snotlouts face with just as much force as if Gobbers hand wasn't even there. Snotlout went flying into the wall across from all of us next to the doors where the dragons were held. Gobber was waving his hand around muttering and cursing about his hand.

Kit walked over to Snotlout who was still conscious surprisingly. She then kneeled down and punched the wall making a crater next to Snotlouts head. "You ever touch me again like that I will murder you where you stand got it?" She says glaring at the shaking boy. "Y-y-yes Ma-ma'am. I won't do it again" He squeaks out in terror. Kit then gets up and walks back to us.

I was so surprised at how strong she was. She hurt Gobber for crying out loud. I stared in awe at the petite girl. "Close you mouth you guys or a dragon will fly in" Kit says as she sidles up to my side. "Are you ok?" I ask hesitantly. "*sigh* Ya I was just really mad cause he was groping my chest while he was holding me and it really irked me. I mean come on do you go around groping girls?" She asks as she looks at me. "What?! No!" I yelp blushing at the thought of groping Kit or Astrid.

Well I know how soft Kit is and I wouldn't min---- nope not going there. I thought to myself. I put my hand on Kits head and chuckle lightly. I see her cheeks flush lightly. It was cute. "Why was he holding me anyways I thought I was on your back?" She asks looking up at me. "You were on my back but he plucked you off my back before I knew it you were awake and Snotlout was in a wall" I chuckled. "But why?" She asked.

"Because he didn't believe how light you were when we told them that you literally weigh as much as like two chickens" Ruff says behind us. "Who else doesn't believe that I am a light weight person" Kit says while rubbing her neck. Astrid and Fishlegs both raised their hands. "Hold your arms out straight like this" She says as she holds her arm out straight from her chest.

She walks up to Fishlegs and grabs his arm and does a pull up and literally sits on his arm. "Do you believe that I am a light person now?" She asks him. "Y-ya" He stutters out. Kit jumps down and does the same with Astrid but hangs upside down on her arm. "Wow you are really light Kit how is this possible?" Astrid asks as she flings her arm up launching Kit into the air. Kit did a couple of flips and starts to come back down. She was almost on top of me so I lifted my arms and caught her spinning us around as she came down all the way.

"So now that that is out of the way" She turns to Gobber who was trying to move his hand. "What are we doing for class today Gobber?" She asks innocently. "Well seeing as you have a wicked hit I feel like you will do great in defending yourself if you don't find the right head. Today is the Zippleback" Gobber says as he continues to shake his hand.
