The silent kitten

Chapter 21

After the many fails Hiccup and I went and fixed and modified the saddle for Toothless. The dragon and boy were getting better each time we modified the saddle. Toothless and Hiccup ended up landing in some grass after they were able to get out of the cove. Amenyx and I landed and then Hiccup and I saw Toothless and Amenyx wiggling around in the grass happily. Hiccup looked at some grass in his hand. I sniffed it and felt this weird feeling tingle through me. I joined the dragons in the grass. I don't know why but it felt awesome. I looked up to Hiccup who was watching us. I crawled over to him. I looked him in the eyes then tackled him to the ground.

I started to rub myself against the boy enjoying the grass. Hiccup sat up and looked at me as I wiggled around in the grass. He took the grass he had in his hand and rubbed it on my cheek. My eyes dilated then expanded till the black pupil covered almost all of my eye. I started to purr into his hand. He smiled at me cutely. I sat up shook myself. I looked at the dragons and fought the urge to get back on the ground with them.

"We need to go before I get back on the ground and enjoy this grass some more" I say as I try so hard to walk over to Amenyx. I was trying so hard not to belly flop onto the ground and roll around in it with the dragons again. After what just happened with Hiccup I did not want to go through that again. Amenyx stands up and I climb on her back. Hiccup does the same for Toothless. We both take off and head back to the cove.

The next day Hiccup sends the Gronkle into its cage with the grass from yesterday. After that everyone was glued to Hiccup asking how he did that and saying something bout never seeing a Gronkle do something like that and so on. Hiccup used an excuse to run back to the academy. I had already left to the cove when Hiccup arrived.

We hung out and played with the dragons. Hiccup started to scratch Toothless on his neck then under his chin. The dragon collapsed with a smile while purring. I laughed and did the same to Amenyx. It was so cute and funny I was laughing. I turn and came face to face with Hiccup I jumped but then fell to the ground purring like the dragons. Hiccup had scratched behind my ear and then my chin.

I slowly started to come to. I realized what happened and jumped on the boy. He did it again causing me to be defenseless. "Damn it Hiccup! I can't believe you did that!" I yell at him when I come to again. "Heheh sorry I just wanted to see if it worked on you like it does them" He said nervously.

The next day the deadly Nadder came to attack him but got distracted by Astrid who was running up to it yelling. Hiccup started to scratch the dragon till it collapsed. Astrid was shocked. That night in the great hall everyone came over to our table as we sat down with us. Hiccup has become very popular with everyone. I was just happy that nobody was shunning him anymore. I could see that Astrid was very mad though.

The next day Hiccup was using a hammer to shine a light on the floor. Toothless and Amenyx both chased it and tried to catch it. Hiccup and I were laughing about how funny and cute they looked. I'm just glad that I don't have that interest like they do.

At the academy the next day we waited for the class to start. "Meet the terrible terror" Gobber says as a small little dragon came out. "Ha! It's like the size of my-" The dragon launched itself at my brother. "AGH get it off!" My brother yells. Everyone screams and runs away. It was chewing on my brothers nose. I walked up to it and plucked it off my brothers face. It looked at me and squawked at me trying to attack me. I laugh and walk to its cage.

I lift the door and toss it back into it's cage. I shut the door and lock it. "Wow Kit and Hiccup are better then you ever were" Tuffnut says to Astrid. She glares at him. Astrid was taking her anger out in the forest. She grabbed her ax and turned around ready to launch it. She stopped and stared at Hiccup and I who were heading to the cove with some more mechanisms for Toothless.

We smile at her and walk around a rock and head to the cove. We made it back to the cove and I helped Hiccup hook Toothless up to the tail mechanism. Hiccup then practiced with an old stump learning what pedal positions to use to do certain flight paths. The rope snapped and the dragon and boy went flying backwards into the woods. Amenyx and I came up to see Hiccup stuck on the rope keeping him and Toothless together.

That night we snuck to the village with our dragons to the black smith. We got there and Hiccup tried to get the ring to let him go. They were making to much noise and the next thing we knew Astrid was calling for Hiccup from outside. "Hiccup? Are you in there?" Astrid asked. Hiccup put an apron on and went outside to distract her. " Astrid hey. Hi Astrid. Hi Astrid. Hi Astrid" Hiccup stuttered out.

"I don't normally get what people do but your acting weird" Hiccup started to get pulled into the smithy. "Well weirder" Astrid says looking at Hiccup quizzically. I tried to keep Toothless from moving but its like the dragon doesn't want to listen to me. Hiccup then gets sucked back in and I tell the dragons to run. Toothless pulls me and Hiccup away. Hiccup gets in his saddle and pulls me on behind him seeing as Amenyx decided to leave us.
