Chapter 30

I walk to my house in a calm and happy mood. I reach my house and walk inside to see that everyone was sitting in the living room relaxing. "I'm home" I say as I walk over and plop down on the couch with my siblings. I place my feet on Tuff's legs and my head on Ruff's legs. I yawned and stretched out on their laps. Ruff starts to play with my hair and pet my head making me sleepy. "How do you like being out there with everyone?" Mom asks looking at me.

I smile at her my eyes starting to close. "It's amazing I love every minute of it. Oh and Gothy is going to teach me when I finish with dragon training. She can't find anyone else to teach and I enjoy learning and talking with her" I say with a sleepy smile on my face. I open my eyes enough to see my parents smiling sweetly at me. "If you are trained by Gothy and take over for her then that'll make you the new medicine women and you will have the entire villages respect. As well as becoming an elder of the village" Dad says as he continues to whittle with his wood piece. It looks like he is making a flute.

"Hey dad can you make me a flute staff?" I ask. I'm not very good with making things with wood. Metal sure but not wood. "Sure sport do you care what it looks like?" He says. I think for a moment. "Ya can you make it kind of like this?" I ask as I pull out a picture I drew. It had a staff that had holes to make music with but little parts that acted as a type of rattle. (think of Hiccups moms staff but without one end and the curved end can be used like a flute like an ocarina if Kit wants to)

Dad looks over the design and agrees that it would be good. He said that he might make some tweaks to it to make the sound just right. "Thanks dad this was I can use it and get use to my own staff rather then taking Gothy's" I tell him as I lay back down on my siblings. "Are you really going to become the next medicine woman?" Ruff asks. "Ya why not? It's not like you or Tuff are gonna volunteer. Heck I doubt that anybody would volunteer. I am the only one out of all the Vikings our age that can understand her. Heck even most adults can't even understand her" I tell them as my eyes droop.

"Just don't get all voodooy on us and try to kill us ok?" Tuffnut says as plays with the fangs on my boots. "I would be a medicine woman not a poisonous viper woman" I retort to my brother. "You gotta admit that would be cool though. Especially since you have a few abilities" Ruff says. I just grunt and snuggle into her lap some more. "Whatever you guys say" I mumble out sleepily. My eyes close all the way and I drift into sleep on my siblings laps.

3rd persons pov

As the dragon girl falls asleep on her siblings laps the parents seem a little worried. "Do you think that she can do it?" Mom asks. "I believe she can do what ever she wants if she puts her mind to it. She is as stubborn as they come" Dad says with a smirk whittling away. "I think that she is going to become a major part of our lives. More then she already is. With the way she has been acting with the guys our age there is a possibility that she might be the next chiefs wife" Ruffnut says as she pets her sisters head.

"Wait what?!" Dad says loudly. Ruffnut shushes him as Kit shifts around. "She has been hanging out with Hiccup so much and she claims that he is her best friend. Also she hates Snotlout and Fishlegs is more into books then anything else" Tuffnut says as he flicks a fang on the sleeping girls boot. "She is a great friend to everyone I haven't heard a single bad thing about her even though everyone knows that she has dragon blood pumping through her. Everyone considers her to be a lively person who always smiles" Ruffnut says moving some hair out of Kits face.

"Ever since she went out her eyes have shown so brightly that they are more bright then any emerald. She shows how happy she is with just her eyes that it's so dazzling. And adding her smile and just the beauty that is her shines so much. She is like a sun shining so brightly bringing warmth and love to all those around her that you can't help but to gravitate towards her and love her" Tuffnut says looking down at the sleeping girl on their laps.

"Wow that is like the most beautiful thing I have ever heard come out of you face" Ruffnut chuckles. "Hey! I can be sweet and romantic and all that gooshy stuff" He retorts. The parents laugh at their children. "I think that our child will be fine my dear" Gruffnut says to his wife. "I sure hope so" She replies back solemnly. The family finally decides it's time for bed. Dad gets up and picks Kit up bridal style. "Ok time for bed kids I'll put Kit in her bed" He says as he walks up the stairs to Kits room.

He walks into her room and lays her on her bed gently. He pulls the blanket up and tucks her in. Kit shifts and snuggles into her bed with a smile. "I love you daddy" She mumbles out in her sleep. Gruffnut looks down at his daughter with a loving smile. "I love you to my sweet little Kitten" He says and places a sweet kiss on her head. "Sweet dreams my child. I'll see you in the morning" He whispers softly. She smiles and gives off soft gentle snores. With that he gets up and leaves the room to his own.
