Chapter 29

Mickey's POV 

        The paparazzi always found a way to ruin everything. I was actually enjoying just being alone and acting like a normal person, well as normal as I can get when I'm around Becca. As soon as she was around the girls she completely changed,  she went from being a care free teen to being a caring mother like figure in a matter of seconds. In fact as soon as she laid eyes on them  she was different, good different. It seemed like she was truly being her and not something that was just for show.
        After I was done calling for a car so we could actually leave I got back to the table and saw both girls cuddled up to Becca shaking. She was trying her best to calm them down but it didn't seem to be helping. She stopped rubbing their arms and looked down at them.
        "Hey, look at me." She said this is a soft voice was like velvet. The looked up at her and I could see the tears forming in their eyes. "I know your scared but you have me and Mickey here to keep you safe." she waved her hand slightly as if to call me over. I came over and hugged Melody, she held on tight for dear life. She was shaking so badly. 
        After a while there was a honk of a horn and I knew that the car was here for us. I knew that the girls were too weak to walk and I could tell that Becca knew it to. We both stood up and picked up the girls. Melody was still shaking and I could see Millie was as well. As soon as we got out side the paps went crazy with asking stupid questions about who the girls were. I could tell Becca just wanted to get out of there. Getting to the car was hard, the fans moved away as soon as they say the girls, I guess it's because they know how it feels.
        Once we got into the car, the noise began to drown out. As the car began to move away from all the people and noise the girls began to calm down. "Hey, you see. I said we would keep you safe." She said with a smile. Melody was still hugging me. She was sat next to me and Millie was sat next to Becca who was in front of us. 
        As soon as we got back to the hotel the boys were waiting for us at reception. They all looked worried. We were still carrying the girls as they still seemed scared and not willing to move as they were that scared. 
        "What the hell happened, we woke up to find both of you gone and then a load of pictures from fans saying you were at this old cafe with 2 kids." Ashton tailed of at the end when he saw how scared they were. Becca didn't respond, she just put Millie down as she had calmed down a lot faster than Melody was and then took her off of me. Grabbing Millie's hand she walked away from them and went to the elevator, obviously wanting to go to her room and be alone.
        "What the fuck was that for?!" I asked him in pure anger. I was so pissed at him. "Could you not see how scared they were, B ran off yesterday to answer a phone call that left her in tears and the next day she comes back with 2 little girls, what the fuck do you think happened. B has just lost what sounds like a very close aunt and they just lost a mum, and the first impression they get of you is a scary man who yells when they are scared." I yelled at him, I have a feeling it was a little to loud as the words left my moth more and more photos were taken. I didn't wait for an answer I just walked off. I didn't really want to go to B's room just because she looked really pissed and worried at the same time.
        I went into my room just so I could sit and think a little. I saw something in B today that I had never seen before. I've never seen her so protective over anything other than keeping things locked up inside of her. She was acting like a proper mum, like she had done it all her life and that nothing was going to get in her way. The only thing I was really worried about was Melody, I've never seen a little girl that scared before.
