In chapter we're going to discuss about colours. Before we get to the next step of creating a company logo we need to figure out your company colours. And there's a whole lot of psychology that goes into this but because we're in the business of marketing online it really can be anything. Something to keep in mind is just to keep it simple.
Choose colours that you like. Maybe even the colours relate to your niche. For example if you're going to do YouTube marketing you might want to use colours similar to YouTube's which are red and grey and white and black. You might want to just incorporate those into your own colours if you're doing Facebook Marketing. For example you might want to use a lot of that Facebook.
Royal blue or whatever colour of blue that has Perry Winkle or light blue whatever that is. Facebook blue. You might want to incorporate that into your company colours. So ideally you want to choose one main colour and then you can do is have an accent. But again even this is up to you. Google and Microsoft use all of the primary colours in their branding.
And in fact many online marketing companies are now going very simple white or light grey with a bold accent like a red or a blue or a darker blue. And this industry is it really can boil down to whatever your favourite colour is. Just don't over think this one.
You can't just decide on a colour and run with it. For example you can see that throughout this whole book I use the colour blue. It just happens to be one of my favourite colours that makes me happy. Looking at it. So doing a whole bunch of videos while staring at Blue is not something that's going to get old.
And that's one thing to think about your colour is that you are part of your business going to be a big part of that brand and so you want to make sure that their colours that are agreeable to you and agreeable and attractive to others.
