In this chapter we're going to discuss about selling in your services. By its nature a service based business is faster to get started but it's often more challenging to scale than a product based business.
There are a few things that you can do however to make sure that you get off to a scalable start. The first thing to do is to make it now your role model in and now is in a hamburger chain based in California and it has an incredibly simple menu. Basically you choose from one to three. And when you contrast that by Here's a screenshot of an announce Web site for their menu.
Contrast that to the menu of Red Robin and this is all I could actually fit on the slide. This menu goes scrolled down and down and down and they have like 80 hamburgers. So there's a big contrast there between one two and three and then a lot and each serves its purpose.
Red robin burgers are great and in and out burgers are great but when you're sad or setting up your services offer one two and three. It makes it very simple for your potential clients to choose from as they say too many options and often leads to too many decisions often leads to indecision.
One two and three. However there is something about in and out that you can follow too many people don't know this but they have a secret menu and this is where you can ask for a different additional options in and out.
It doesn't really advertise this but if you know it and ask for it they'll do it when you're at the counter. And so you can do the same thing for your client. No two clients will ever quite be the same and you can give them the initial one two or three option and then tailor it to their needs if they request or if you think it will really help them out if it will help you get results for them in their business.
We're going to circle back to this later but for now keep thinking Think about keeping everything simple in two words simple cells can limit the amount of options that you give your client and you're going to sell more. So that's it for this this particular topic of prioritizing your services.
