Spontaneous

Part 19

You laugh as she runs after you. You run into a park nearby and lie under a tree. She comes past a few minutes later looking at you lying there and joins you panting.

Lou - "What the fuck! I'm a smoker I can't run like that!"

You laugh and turn to face her now sat beside you.

Y/n - "See. Spontanaity... Good isn't it."

She laughs and smiles getting lost in your eyes slightly before looking away to leave the moment and you laugh.

Lou - "You can say that. Yeah."

You lie there watching the sky and then you tell her.

Y/n - "Shes great Lou. She really is. But..."

Lou - "But what sweetheart?"

You're silent.

Lou - "Come on man tell me please!"

Lou lowers to your level and holds your hand.

Y/n - "Okay... I umm she's... she's leaving."

Lou - "What? Who's she?"

Y/n - "Devin. Shes umm... she's leaving."

Lou - "What? When? What do you mean leaving?"

Y/n - "She told me just before I came to meet you... which is ironic as I met with you to ask your opinion on if she'd been acting strange and distant or not. I was annoyed she didn't tell me sooner and we fought. But I gave in to her which is why I was slightly late."

Lous eye brows raise  and you roll your eyes and she shakes your arms to carry on.

Y/n - "After, it umm made it worse and I told her to start packing and not be there when I collected my things later on as I didn't want to see her. She didn't want to upset me more and make false promises and then throw it at me when I was high but... that's exactly what happened so I don't... think it worked."

Lou - "Oh y/n I-"

Y/n - "It's fine I just..."

You start to cry and sit up.

Y/n - "I just thought I had found someone and now she's moving away to become a huge tattoo artist... Like I'm happy for her because she's so so talented and honestly deserves the world but... it just hurts to know that I was only a small distraction before she left. Again... Like how many times does this have to happen before someone actually stays Lou?... How many more fucking times?!"

You cry and scream and she grabs you hugging you tight. She pulls away your hair from your face to wipe your tears and kisses you but you both know it's just platonic.

You spend the rest of the day smoking and talking more amoungst yourselves in the park.

Lou - "Look... I can tell you like her a lot. It's kind of obvious by how you just spoke about her to me y/n. I know I can't speak much but, honey... all over your face."

You look down nodding your head.

Lou - "But it's going to be okay. I'm here for you and you can move back into mine when you're ready okay."

You smile and thank her but there's just one issue.

Lou - "But just to let you know there's one requirement before you come back."
