Dillion Scott || Future plans

I felt like I was six years old again where id fall asleep on the couch and wake up tucked into my bed. Though in this case I don't exactly know where I most likely passed out and I'm not in my bed, I'm in the medical ward. Jack was curled up at my feet in wolf form, which isn't uncommon for the boy as you'd find him more often then not asleep in his wolf form. It was a safety thing for when he was at Ryker's and it would also potently him slight from the cold, though he knows he is safe here it would now just be an ingrained habit.

"Welcome back, I'm starting to think you enjoy being in the medical wards" Josiah's voice said softly, I glanced up at him surprised. He chuckled walking over, ruffing up my hair. "Keenan called yesterday, we got in this morning. Rest of the troops are driving straight to the Flanders pack" Josiah explained, I nodded, glancing down at jack who was still out cold. "Cute kid, has not left your side. Keenan said he snapped at Elias and almost lost his head in the process." Josiah said shaking his head. I raised an eyebrow at that.

"At least one Sallow brother likes me" I muttered chuckling, I'm amazed that Jack would do anything as he is still very timid around people, Elias included. Though Elias is very careful around Jack making sure his movements are slow and his voice is quiet, he is still quite stand offish and somewhat awkward around Jack.

I felt the side of my neck, rolling my eyes at the lack of a mark. Guess I seriously have to be on the edge of life and death for Elias to do anything. "They gave you a shot that helps female wolves that go through particularly bad heat. So birth control basically, seems to help" Josiah explained.

"Why am I not surprised? So I'll be on that stuff for the rest of my life" I said unimpressed, wondering what about me is so undesirable that Elias doesn't want me to bare his mark. Josiah shook his head.

"No. this is a temporarily solution. This will get you through the next few days but that's it, then Elias has to get his head out his ass and mark you cause this is getting ridiculous" Josiah said sternly "This shot they gave you isn't meant for male wolves, it was a gamble that it even worked. But doctors will only give you enough for the next few days that it." Josiah stated. I nodded in understanding. female wolves only go in heat once or twice a year, so they would only get one or two doses a year.

"Oh I got a surprise for you" Josiah said his eyes lighting up as he fished his phone out of his pocket, tapping away at the screen. "Now this goes against a lot of Were rules but we made an exception just this once." Josiah said handing me his phone, I glanced down my eyes widening. Daniel was sitting up in a medical bed, looking as if had just come out of surgery, with Julie sitting by his side and Kara on Julie's lap. Nick was in the background alongside the pack doctor.

"He had another bad fall and crushed his leg and a few other bones, we got a very tearful phone call from Kara asking for help last week. Doc agreed to the surgery, Nick said yes." Josiah said with a grin. "Daniel is recovering well, and is in talks of selling part of his land to us, which if you can get Elias on board then we can open the school." Josiah said.

I gaped in slight shock, wondering why I wasn't kept in the loop with all of this but I guess I have been pre-occupied with Jack. The school thing has been a dream though up by myself, my brothers and a few other alpha/beta family's over the past few years. To have a central school for werewolf's, no mater the pack or rank. then kids can learn not only the normal stuff but to be a wolf as well in stead of having the separate. the only reason it hasn't happened yet is because we haven't found a place to put it, as it would need to be away from humans which generally is pack land but it cant be on pack grounds as then it is not natural territory.

Which makes Daniel and Julie's farm land perfect spot as they got the space and they are humans that know of werewolves. it would help them out a heap finically to and there is a good chance that Kara could probably go to the school when she is older, cause like Josiah said, they are the exception. I can already tell Kara will be apart of the Werewolf community one way or another, she is currently young and fearless and if she continues to grow up with wolves and be apart of Nick's pack then she will have no problems being around teen wolves. Daniel and Julie wouldn't have to worry much about their daughter as she will have pack protection as well as them selves and their home.

"I don't know what to say, I - this is great." I said with a grin. "As for Elias I think he owes me a few favours, specially after we bring is parents and brother home." I stated with a shrug, if he ain't going to commit to me then he can make up in other ways, plus depending on how it goes it would be a great opportunity for Jack. He is a smart boy but a proper education and the socialisation would do him good, cause I'm gonna take a guess that he will probably be the next alpha after Elias as we cant produce an heir.

Jack woke up a few minutes later, acting like an excitable puppy when he figured out that I was awake. I laughed softly scratching him behind the ears. "yes hello pup" I greeted managing to get him still so I could give him a scratch. Jack seemed quite content in his wolf as he laid on top of me, his head rest on my chest.

The pack doctor checked me out, giving me a stern warning to be careful and call out if anything wasn't feeling right. I barely took two steps into the kitchen dinning area before Addison and Willow attacked me with hugs, Jack yelped started at the sudden commotion as he was still in his wolf form. "Sorry jack, come here" Willow said softly detaching herself from me so she could crouch on the floor, beckoning Jack over which he did so timidly.

"He is so cute, you should see all the things we found for him!" Addison said excitedly, pressing a kiss on my cheek before her attention went on to Jack who was lapping up the attention like any puppy would, his tail wagging making his back end wiggle slightly. I chuckled at the scene, leaving my sisters to fuss over Jack as I got some food in my stomach.

Most of the afternoon was spent going over our battle plans and getting ready for our trip the Flanders pack, which myself, Josiah and Ben will be taking a small van up, so Alice and Geoffrey wont be stuck on the busses with thirty other wolves.

"You know, if this all goes to plan, you won't have anymore excuses" I said, glancing at Elias who for once came down for dinner. His eyes glanced up from his plate to look at me, one brow raising. "No dead parents, no psychotic brother on the loose." I stated, with a smirk. I don't doubt he will make some more, most probably every excuse under the sun. Elias hummed in response, his usual poker face was down so for once i could see a bit of his emotions.

"I'm sure I can make some more. I have at least three days to think of some" Elias responded with the smallest of smirks lifting his lips. I gaped in shock at what seems to be the cheeky side of Elias.

"I scored- not only an alpha, but one with a sense of humour? hell yeah!" I replied with a grin earning a laugh from around the table. "All I need now is good looks and emotional availability and I've got myself a keeper" I said with a smirk earning an eyeroll from Elias.

Dinner went well, Elias seemed to relax for the first time since I've known him, his playful mood going as far as to add a few more witty comments though out the night. Which almost shocked me, but I was happy that he was not being a grump for once. Willow and Addison had no problems with throwing in a few digs at Elias, which successfully got Jack laughing. Ben had his wife and kids over which was nice as I finally got to meet the family that I keep hearing about.

"I'm serious Elias, no more excuses. I'm not going to continue living like this, there is only so much my wolf is going to take before things start to become more difficult then it is already" I said softly, I had grabbed him before he made his exit. he looked at me intently, searching for something on my face, he looked unsure as he glanced away for a moment before looking back at me, giving me a small nod before slipping out of my grip and walking away.
