Dillion Scott || Temper TantrumMe and Dwayne (still don't know his real name) have spent well over half a day together, either that or time goes exceptionally slow in this room. Since I'm telling the truth, the only person cracking at the moment is Dwayne, I can tell he wants to bash my head in, along with a few other guys that have come in. Though I think my unwavering story of that I'm a guest is the only reason they haven't killed me yet.
They have asked why I'm here as a guest which was a question I bent the truth on a little. If Elias hasn't even notified his pack that I'm here then I highly doubt he wants them to know the connection we have and let's be honest I'm pretty sure no one here will believe if i told them. I just mentioned I was friends with them both and left it at that.
"They saved my life at the red moon festival conference." I said randomly, no-one asked how we met which I though would probably be one of the first questions. I hope that if I gave him a little bit of context maybe he'll believe me. Dwayne rose an eyebrow, "It's how we met. My father is an alpha, my eldest brother being the next in line. I don't know how much you know of what happens at the conference but the second day there is a hunt, winner gets a medal and bragging rights." I explained briefly.
Something flashed in Dwayne's eyes but it was to quick for me to really figure out what. I could guess some type of nerves, cause if I was an asshole I could very well turn this into something bigger, not that I will. I respect the fact that they are doing their job, Roles reversed I probably wouldn't believe me either. As frustrating, annoying and a little painful as it is, I could see their side of things too.
"Well it was my sister first time being allowed in the hunt so, I stuck with her, let her lead. before I knew it, I was face to face with a very pissed off cougar and her two teenage cubs. They ripped me to shreds, if it wasn't for Elias and Keenan I wouldn't be talking to you right now." I said shaking my head.
I could tell that my little backstory has stuck some alarm bells in Dwayne's head. Elias never gos to these events ever, that's a known fact but not many people apart from who went would know that himself and Keenan had attended this year. "Was your sister okay?" Dwayne asked with a genuine expression for once. I nodded "I'm not the best fighter but I'd be damned if my actions were the reason she got hurt. I told her to run the second the mother decided she wanted to have wolf for lunch." I stated.
Unfortunately, though it might of rattled a few doubts in his head, my story was not enough to make him believe me. "I'd get my title striped and probably banished" He spoke up randomly a few minutes later. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "You asked what would happen to me if your story is true" he explained. Hopefully Keenan gets to me first cause then I can hopefully change his mind on punishing Dwayne, the man is only doing his job.
"You protect and guard the pack grounds by any means possible, which you have and continue to do. I understand why I'm here. Your doing your job, I get that." I said with a shrug. The silver cuffs were replaced my metal ones, which was nice, the silver burns on my wrists I know won't heal completely for at least a week, the scaring will take a little longer. For reasons beyond me, silver burned werewolves. The effects where probably the only thing that really damaged the skin, something that doesn't take seconds to heal.
Dwayne even disinfected my wrists, and a bit of bandaging so the metal cuffs would dig in as much. Though when I mentioned that he was going all soft on me, I got another punch to the jaw, though this one was light compared to the others. I chuckle escaped my lips as the pain was gone in seconds.
