"Y'all, I just wanted to thank you guys for helping out with everything for our wedding. Let's get this party started!" Yena excitedly said while the rest cheered and ran towards a room.

Minju has stayed seated on the couch since the moment she stepped in here and it's really worrying Chaewon how she's not acting like herself. It's as if she's a totally different person compared to the person she was in the morning.

It's around 8 pm now and Minju couldn't help but unknowingly stare at Yujin whenever she got the chance to. It's as if there was something just attracting her eyes and she doesn't know why she's doing so. Chaewon sat beside her and looked at her, turning to make her face her.

"Min, tell me what's wrong. You're not fine. There's been something bothering you since the wedding ended." she asked while seeking response but the brunette just kept quiet.

"Come on. You can tell me." Chaewon asked while holding onto her hands.

The rest were playing some video games in a room while being a little noisy, leaving Chaewon and Minju alone in the living room. I guess that's their definition of a party, still kids at heart. Minju crossed her legs together on the sofa and looked up to Chaewon, letting go of her hand.

"I don't know. Just...why did she suddenly say that just now when she could've told us once she touched down? Not saying she had to but I don't know why I'm even feeling like this when I've clearly moved on already Chaewon-ah. I'm confused. Very confused about what's going on with me right now."

Minju went on rambling while clenching her fists and it somehow made Chaewon's heart crack a little despite knowing that Minju still loved Yujin but the latter herself doesn't know. But hearing it from Minju was just painful even if she already suspected from the start.

"D-Do you still like her?" Chaewon hesitantly asked to confirm her intuitions while Minju looked at her.

"No. Not after what she did to me." Minju bite down on her words and said in a flat tone which made Chaewon sigh a little.

"Maybe you're just shocked," Chaewon said while holding onto her shoulders to make Minju look at her.

"You know what? Just date me now." Minju suddenly spat out which made Chaewon freeze in her spot, removing her hands from her shoulder. This was not what she was expecting.

"Y-You sure? You said you needed—"

"Yes, I'm sure. Maybe it'll help me be sure of my feelings..."

Chaewon who felt a hint of excitement got hit by a realization truck while her face turned into a rather offended one as she jolted backward a little. "What? No! Min, as much as I want you to date me, I'm not going to be some rebound for you just because you're confused."

Minju looked down and bit down on her lips, staying quiet for a while because she just unknowingly hurt Chaewon's feelings. Chaewon took a deep breath in before talking again, trying her best not to make Minju feel uncomfortable.

"Look, I know what she said just now might have been shocking but you can't just keep on using me to push your own feelings away. I know you still like her, Min. I'm not going to force you to keep on trying to like me. It's okay." she uttered while softly grasping onto the trembling Minju.

The brunette gently removed Chaewon's grip on her forearm. "No. I don't. Stop fucking saying I still like her because I don't, Chaewon. Don't you remember what she did to me? Weren't you there to see what happened? Are you even my friend at this point? Why are you—"

"Minju! Stop!"

At this point, Minju's tears unknowingly fell from her eyes as she remembered how pathetic she was in the past when Yujin left her. She's still in pain no matter how many times she tried to ignore it. The past just came like a tsunami, flooding every part and inch of her mind. The emotional pain she felt has never faded no matter how much she tries to convince herself that she has moved on—her first heartbreak can never be forgotten.
