Chapter 11

Yena told everyone to meet at her house before going for their outfit fitting for Yena and Yuri's wedding. This duck wants the best for everyone, after all, she's rich. CEO life has never been better.

Minju went to fetch Chaewon as usual and today, she's met with a surprise. She saw Chaewon coming down with a rather familiar girl. The two girls approached the car while Minju unlocked the doors. They both got in, Chaewon in the passenger seat and the girl behind. Minju turned around and her eyes widened when she recognised the familiar face.

"Hitomi?!" She exclaimed while seemingly shocked.

"Hi, Minju!" She waved a little while Minju looked at Chaewon.

"I thought you were still in Japan." She uttered.

"I came back a few days ago."

Minju nodded and turned back before realizing something.

"Why did you two walk down together?" she looked at Chaewon who was buckling her seatbelt and back to Hitomi.

"Ahh... about that."

Flashback...

*Ding dong*

Chaewon finished brushing her teeth and dressed up because she knew that the girl her mother was talking about would be coming, but she didn't expect her to be this early. She rushed to the door, fixing herself and opening it, only to see Hitomi at the other end.

"Hitomi?"

"Chaewon?"

They both froze on their spots while staring at each other. Chaewon's heart somehow palpitated quickly when their gaze met. The fact that Chaewon's ex-crush is standing right in front of her is just shocking. No one knows Chaewon had a crush on Hitomi but ever since Minju gave Chaewon a chance, she focused on Minju instead. Plus, Hitomi went back to Japan to continue her studies so these two have not met often. That doesn't mean feelings would fade...would it?

"You're the girl my mom was talking about?" they both said in unison and chuckled.

"Come in," Chaewon said while gesturing as Hitomi walked in and roamed her eyes around.

"Do you want something to drink?" Hitomi looked at Chaewon who was in the kitchen.

"Water is fine." Chaewon nodded while Hitomi proceeded to sit down in the living room.

"Wah, your place is neat," Hitomi said while receiving the cup from Chaewon.

"Nah, I just cleaned it because my mom told me I was suddenly having a housemate." She chuckled while sitting down.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Chaewon asked.

"I didn't know that person was going to be you stupid."

"Right. Let me show you to your room then." She stood up and brought Hitomi to her room.

End of flashback...

"Yeah, so she's my housemate now," Chaewon said while Minju already started driving.

"I see..."

"Wait where are we going again?" Hitomi asked while peeking her head through the seats.

"Yena's house," Minju answered while Hitomi sat back down.

Not long after, they reached Yena's house, and concurrently, Wonyoung and Yujin were also seen stepping out of their car. Yujin turned around and saw Minju which she immediately smiled but that smile soon faded when she saw Chaewon stepping out.
