Y/n's POV

I woke up the next morning to see Hermione getting ready and brushing her hair while the other girls were still asleep. I got up from the bed to see Stark resting peacefully at the foot of my bed.

"Good morning Hermione." I greeted the girl.

"Good morning to you too Y/n." She replied.

I took a shower and changed quickly so I could have breakfast early. I came out of the bathroom to see Parvati and Lavender already up and Hermione gone; she's probably already downstairs.

"Good morning you two." I greeted them to which they both replied with subtle voices since they were still a bit tired.

I tied my curly brown hair into a half up half down style and made sure to double check that I had everything I needed, including my blue pouch.

I went down to the common room to see Harry and Ron were already up.

"Good morning Harry, Ron." I greeted the two.

"Good morning," the two replied.

"Sleep well you two?" I asked, taking a seat on one of the couches.

"Slept a bit late but other than that it was pretty good. I would have slept a bit longer if Ron didn't fall off the bed and screamed." Harry said which caused Ron to smack his arm.

I let out a short laugh but stopped when Ron shot me a glare.

"I slept well, thank you very much. Though I wish I woke up on the bed and not on the floor." Ron fixed his robes and looked around the common room. "Let's go eat breakfast shall we. I don't think I can go on without food."

Me and Harry nodded and began heading out of the common room and towards the great hall.

Once I entered the Great Hall I noticed not many people were up yet which made it easier to spot Hermione who was eating breakfast while reading a book.

Sat down next to her and started piling food on my plate. Harry and Ron sat across from me and Hermione, though Ron looked like he didn't want to sit across her. But his mood changed when he began eating some breakfast which lightened his mood quite a bit.

"Good morning Hermione." Harry greeted while Ron stayed quiet as he ate his pancake.

"Good morning Harry, hello Y/n, Ronald." Hermione greeted without her eyes leaving the book.

Ron shot his head up from his food, "Don't call me Ronald." but his words had no effect on Hermione.

I looked at Harry and gave him a questioning look while just shrugging not knowing what was up with the two either.

Half way through breakfast, the Great Hall started to fill with many more students. Soon enough the twins walked in and sat in our group. Fred sat next to me with George on his left.

Ron stopped his chewing and looked at his older brothers with a raised brow. "What are you two doing here?"

"Can't we sit with our little brother during breakfast?" George said as he started piling food on his plate.

"Well you can but knowing you two, you might just want to slip something in my food." Ron replied while shoving another piece of bacon in his mouth.

"We would never do that to you dear Ronniekins." Fred said with a sly smile.

Me and the group continued eating the rest of our breakfast. I was taking a sip of my pumpkin juice when I noticed Fred and George grinning. I had a confused look on my face and went to ask why they were looking at me like that but the minute I opened my mouth, nonsense spilled out.
