Y/n's POV

Last thing I remember was me getting knocked out by that dark cloud of some sort. Next thing I saw was darkness. I couldn't be dead because for one, I would be quite disappointed if it was just darkness in the afterlife, and second is that a dark cloud isn't going to be what takes me out. I'm the girl who came back for Merlin's sake.

I finally had the energy to open my eyes. But just as I opened my eyes I immediately realized how bright it was in the room. It took me a few moments to adjust to the brightness. Just as the room became clear, I sat up.

I looked around the room to see Harry in the bed next to mine, still unconscious. Another thing I noticed was the array of sweets, cards and baskets with the tag "get well soon" written on them.

I reach out to grab the cards. Some of them were from classmates, some from relatives and many from friends, namely Louis.

Dear Petals,

Your parents wrote to me about what happened. I hope you and Harry are doing well. Might I just say, taking down Voldemort is one hell of a badass thing to do as an 11 and 12 year old. The whole family hopes you get well soon. Oh and my mum says that if we're lucky, we can go visit you during the summer. If your parents would allow that. Anyways, I seriously do hope you get better, otherwise I'd have to find a new best friend and socialising is just so exhausting.

From Twigs,

I laughed as I finished reading his card. Just as I went to grab another one, Harry began to wake up.

"Ah, sleeping beauty is finally awake." I said to him as he sat up.

Before he could say anything, Dumbledore entered the room.

"Good afternoon, you two." He walked towards our beds. Stopping at the tray filled with the treats and cards. "Tokens from your admirers?"

"Admirers?" Me and Harry asked in unison.

"What happened during that night is in between you and Professor Quirrell. So naturally, the whole school knows." He smiled. He grabbed an empty box of chocolate frog from Harry's table.

"Was Ron here? Is he alright? What about Hermione?" Harry asked.

"Fine, they're both just fine. It was a wonder how you four came out from there with only a few injuries. Though you two were out for quite a bit." He stated.

"How long were we out?" I asked.

"Only for a day. But don't worry about it." He replied.

"But Professor, what happened to the stone?" Harry asked.

"No worries there, we destroyed the stone." He answered.

"But what's going to happen to Nicholas Flamel? Without the stone, wouldn't he die?" I asked.

"He has enough elixir to set his affairs in order. But yes, he will die." He replied. This news set a bit of grimness into the room.

"Wait, if the Stone is gone. Does that mean Voldemort will never come back?" I asked.

"Unfortunately there are other ways which can allow him to return. But, Harry, have you ever wondered why Professor Quirrell couldn't bear you touching him?" Dumbledore asked.

Harry shook his head.

"It's because of your mother. She sacrificed herself for you. Leaving something that will always be with you. And that thing was love." He stated. He grabbed one of Bertie Bott's every flavor beans.
