Y/n's POV
⋅•☆────✧.·☽✦☾·.✧────☆•
Ever since that day during dueling club, everyone has been looking at me like I was about to cast the killing curse at them. The only people who seemed to act normal around me were my friends.
Fred and George have been making the most of the situation. Whenever we walked in the halls with students, they'd taunt them. Saying I was the heir of Slytherin, as a joke of course. It was quite funny to see them look genuinely scared at their statement.
Even Adrian seemed scared at the sight of me. The people who were cowered the most were the muggleborns. It sort of hurt to see everyone genuinely scared that I would actually hurt them but I really can't do anything about it.
Peeves seemed to have taken this opportunity into scaring the students every time they're in the halls. But whenever they would spread another rumor or whisper another thing about me, he'd chuck a water balloon at them.
Nearly everyone thought I was the heir. But my friends and family knew I wasn't and that's all that mattered.
I was currently in the study hall with the rest of my classmates. I could feel their stares burrow in the back of my head. I turned my head to see that my thoughts were true.
I let out a sigh and packed my things. "I'm going to head out. See you guys in the common room."
Hermione and Ron seemed taken back by my statement but understood, Harry nodded his head, knowing I didn't want to be here. Lee and George sent me a smile and a nod. Fred seemed to be the only one to speak up.
"Hey, how about I go with you?" Fred asked.
I nodded my head with a small grin, I didn't really feel like being alone at the moment but I certainly didn't feel like being in a room where people keep staring at me.
Fred and I headed out the room, feeling the stares of our classmates as we went. As soon as I was out of the room, I let out a loud sigh.
"I swear to Godric that if I hear another whisper, feel another stare or see someone turn the other way at the sight of me, I'm going to explode." I said with my hands in my hair.
"They're just scared and paranoid. Most of them don't know that you're not that type of person to try and kill someone. What matters is who you really are." He said as he pulled me into as side hug as we walked towards the common room.
I take in a deep breath and nodded my head. "Yeah, you're right."
"When am I not?" He replied.
I let out a laugh, "Now don't get cocky, Freddie."
"But that's part of my Weasley charm." He said with a grin.
I shook my head with a chuckle. I instantly stop in my tracks when I hear a familiar voice coming from the walls.
"I want blood...They all must die!"
"Y/n? What's wrong?" Fred asked, noticing I've stopped walking.
"I- You don't hear that voice?" I asked as I walked closer towards the wall.
"No...what are they saying?" Fred asked.
"Uh, Its saying they want blood. That they all must d-"I stop talking when the voice speaks up again.
"Time to kill!"
My eyes widen at the words. "It says it's time to kill." I said in a shaky voice.
Fred didn't know what to say. He just sent me a worried look.
