Y/n's POV

It's been a few weeks and the days have been going pretty well. We're currently learning about aquatic magical animals in Care of Magical Creatures class. I've got to master the spells we're learning in Transfiguration and Charms. Potions was actually quite pleasant. I managed to brew a perfect Fire protection potion and Strengthening Potion.

DADA was the only class I've been dreading. We weren't learning about anything other than how Professor Gilderoy managed to tame a Peruvian Vipertooth which I knew was just talk. If he knew anything, he would know that they're quite rare and even if he did manage to find one it would try and eat him before he would try to get close to it.

It was currently the weekend and I was in the common room rereading my copy of the Little Women. That was until the twins and Lee entered the room.

"Y/n!" Fred said in a sing-song voice.

"What is it, you three?" I asked them, bookmarking my page before closing it.

"A package arrived and it's for you." George said, handing me a large parcel wrapped in old newspaper.

I sent them a confused look as I took the package from their hands. I noticed it was a bit heavy. I began to read the card attached to the string.

Dear Little wolf,

When I was at Hogwarts, your grandmother gifted me this on my 12th birthday. I was going to gift it to you on yours a few months ago but I couldn't find it. But now I have. I know you have a love for Queens and AC/DC like your father which is why there are a few records inside but there was a release of a new album which I think you will like. I know you'll handle it with care which is why I'm giving it to you and because of your love of music. Enjoy the gift sweetheart. I love you.

After I read her letter I became quite excited about what she could have given me. I opened the parcel to reveal a box with a bunch of records from Queens, AC/DC, The Beatles and one from a band called ABBA. I've heard of the band before but I haven't listened to any of their music yet.

Lee let out a gasp when he saw the records. I love music but Lee loves music the way Oliver loves Quidditch.

"How'd your mom manage to get these?" He asked, examining one of the records.

"They're either from my dad or uncle Sirius. Mum mentioned they used to play music in the common room all the time. I've always wanted one of these." I said as I looked through the records.

I pulled them out of the box and at the very bottom sat another box but it was made out of wood. I pulled it out and opened it. It revealed a record player in perfect condition. My eyes widened at the sight.

"Oh Godric, this is amazing." I said as I admired the machine.

"Play something." Fred said, handing me the ABBA vinyl.

I placed the record player on the table and removed the vinyl from its sleeve. I slowly placed it on the record player. I started the machine and a song began to play.

The students in the common room turned their head towards the music. Though it was my first time hearing it. I really liked it. I looked to the twins to see them dancing along the song. I let out a laugh as I watched them dance.

"Friday night and the lights are low

Fred caught sight that I was still sitting down so he started making his way towards me. Gesturing to come join him and the others. I shook my head but he rolled his eyes and pulled me off the couch. He held onto my hands and made me dance along with him.

Some of the students in the common room watched us as we danced while a few joined in. Harry, Ron and Hermione entered the common room to see the little dance party we were having. Harry sent me a confused look while I simply shrugged and continued to dance. The three eventually joined in. Or at least I pulled in Harry and Hermione to join us while the twins made Ron dance with them.

Nearly half of the students were dancing along to the music. We were having so much fun but that was when I spotted McGonagall walking through the portrait. She took a moment to process what was happening then eventually shook her head and smiled. Seconds later, dad walked through the common room and saw what was going on. He sent me a smile and nodded along to the music. He was talking to McGonagall but I couldn't hear them.

Ambrose's POV

I was passing by the Gryffindor common room to hear music coming from inside the room. I walked through the portrait to see Minnie standing in front of the common room which was filled with students who were dancing along to some music. I spotted the familiar record player playing the music on the table.

I smiled at the sight. I eventually spotted Y/n who was dancing with Fred and Harry who was dancing with Ron by his side.

"Reminding you of anyone?" I asked Minnie.

"They're so much like Rosie and James." She replied with a smile.

We continued to watch the students dance along to the song. It was good to see some part of the Marauders in the younger generation.

A/n: Ik this be a short chapter but I really wanted to add this moment in. I've loved ABBA for as long as I can remember so I had to add it in.
