Y/n's POV

I was currently at the black lake with the twins, Lee and Louis, sitting next to a certain tree. You see, every person or group has their special spot they like to hang out by. In our case, it was this tree.

Lee named it Monty for some reason and it just stuck. So whenever we wanted to hang out outside, we would be here. Sitting by Monty the tree.

This time I was up in the tree and I noticed that there were things carved into the bark.

"Hey guys! Have you seen this?" I asked the boys down below.

"Seen what?" Fred asked.

"There's something carved into the wood." I said as I climbed down the tree.

As I made the last step, Fred helped me down to the ground.

"What do you mean?" George asked.

"There are initials next to each other with a plus symbol between them." I stated.

The boys immediately started climbing up the tree to have a peak on the carvings.

"Yeesh, no need to rush. It's not like they're gonna disappear or anything." I said as I stayed put on the ground.

They eventually got down after checking out the carving.

"Who do you think carved them into the wood?" Louis asked.

I shrugged and sat down on the ground by the tree. The three also sat down. I pulled out a new book from my bag and began to read.

"Do you think they're still together?" George asked.

"Maybe? That stuff looked old so if they are then good for them." I answered.

"Hey Y/n, do you have any cookies?" Fred asked.

I nodded and without looking in my bag, I levitated the box of cookies out of my pouch. I didn't realize what I was doing until George pointed it out.

"What are you doing- how are you doing that?" He asked.

"Oh, right you three don't know yet." Fred stated.

"I can apparently do wandless magic, I guess I can also do non-verbal magic?" I said.

The three were speechless. Their eyes wide and jaws dropped.

"You say that like it's a common thing." Louis stated.

"I mean, yeah it's a cool thing but others can do it too." I said.

"Well either way, it's a wicked ability." George commented.

I admit, being able to do this level of magic is pretty cool but it's most certainly not going to be the last interesting thing I'll find out this year.

I was with Harry as we sorted the piles of letters and mail for Lockhart. Never in my life have I met a man so full of himself.

I would rather spend detention with Snape than do this. At least the punishment would involve something from school.

I was supposed to be studying Charms with Louis, Makayla and Draco in the library but I landed myself in detention a few hours before.
