Y/n's POV

After the game me and Harry returned to the common room to relax for a bit. We received a lot of praise for our win which brought the house to a certain type of high. I was still totally overjoyed by the fact we won in our first quidditch match. Not to mention I scored about 6 goals before Harry caught the snitch so I have a feeling Louis would be happy to know he'll be a few galleons richer.

I was about to head over to my dorm to write to Louis about our win but Neville came up to me and Harry.

"Hey, Professor Carrington is outside looking for you two. There's a lady with him too. Also congratulations for the win in Gryffindor." Neville said.

"Thank you, Nev, and thanks for telling us." I said as Me and Harry went towards the portrait to see mum and dad standing there with big smiles.

Mum went directly in to hug me and Harry. Her hugs were almost as tight as dad's.

"Oh I'm so proud of you two. It's your first year and you've won your first quidditch game! I was so shocked to hear that you two got into the quidditch team but also so proud." Mum said as she pulled away from the hug.

"Thanks mum." Me and Harry said in unison.

"Now I'm sorry but I have to go back to the reserve. I've left your uncle Remus to feed the Kappas but I know he'll need some help. I love you both, celebrate this win. So very proud of you." She said as she hugged me and Harry once again.

She kissed our foreheads and began walking away with dad to where I assume is his office which has a fireplace to travel through the floo network. Dad already came to me and Harry and congratulated us on our win at the quidditch pitch so it was fine.

Me, Harry, Ron and Hermione were now walking along beside Hagrid who we were informing about our suspicions of Snape.

"Why would Snape put a curse on Harry's broomstick?" Hagrid asked.

"Who knows, why was he trying to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween?" I asked.

"Who told you about fluffy?" Hagrid replied.

"Fluffy?" Ron asked.

"Yes, Fluffy is his name and he's mine. I bought him off a man I met at the pub last year. I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the..." Hagrid said.

"Yes?" Harry said.

"Shouldn't have said that. No more questions. You're not supposed to know about this." Hagriid said.

"But Hagrid, whatever Fluffy's guardian, Snape is trying to steal it." Harry said.

"Poppycock, Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher and one of Dumbledore's most trusted staff." Hagrid said.

"Teacher or not, I know a spell when I see one. I've read all about them. You've got to keep eye contact and Snape wasn't blinking at all." Hermione said.

"Now, you listen to me. All four of you. You're involving yourselves in things you shouldn't even know about. It's dangerous. What Fluffy is guarding is strictly between Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel." Hagrid said.

At the mention of the name, something sparked in my brain. It was like I've heard it before but I just can't remember where.

"I shouldn't have said that..." Hagrid said repeatedly, scolding himself as he walked away.
