Quidditch, one of the many highlights of the Wizarding world. Played by many and loved by all. It has led us to this very moment. Where a bunch of us Hogwarts student gather in the Quidditch pitch for a game of Quidditch.

Even with the recent announcement that Sirius Black may be roaming the castle, the others didn't mind. They were more than happy to join the Midnight Quidditch which meant the match was still on tonight.

It was a great way to kick off the year for the future Quidditch matches. Also an effective way to bring the houses together.

At the moment, many of us were still on our way to the Quidditch pitch. We all knew that they don't really patrol around those parts. So no one would be down there for hours.

When I went down to the common room, I saw many, and I mean many students gathered to go to the Quidditch pitch. It was surprising considering they were recently informed that there was a killer on the loose in Hogwarts.

All of them were in their pajamas, some wrapped in their blankets since it was a bit cold. They surprisingly didn't look even a bit tired from the lack of sleep. Many of them were holding onto lanterns and a few had brought a few knitted scarves and hats along with them.

"Oh wow, didn't think we'd get this many." Lee commented as we reached the bottom of the steps.

"This won't be a problem right?" A second year students asked.

"No, it won't be a problem at all. The more the merrier." I grinned.

All of us soon despersed from the common room. All the students following behind me and the boys.

As we closed the door, the new portrait that had replaced Ellie was sending us an odd look.

"What are you guys up to at this time?" Sir Cadogan questioned with a hard stare.

The other students tensed up behind me all slightly worried that he was going to tell us off for sneaking out.

"Good evening Sir Cadogan, you don't mind that we head out for a bit of Quidditch, do you? We promise we'll come back before the teachers find out." I tried my best to convince the portrait, I hoped he was as passive as Ellie was.

He chuckled with a shake of his head. "Not at all. You students have fun, just don't get caught. We wouldn't want that now would we?"

"No" everyone collectively spoke behind me.

We turned back to the empty hallway. Quickly, we made it through the halls and corridors. Not bumping into a single prefect or teacher the whole way through.

The boys had made a slight wall to cover me from the group behind. To hide the Marauder's map from unwanted eyes. We didn't need the Gryffindor house knowing about a special map of the school.

We made our way outside of the castle and onto the grounds. We could vaguely see the Pitch from this distance. It was hard to see due to the dark night. It was a new moon so the environment wasn't illuminated by the usual moon's natural light.
