The holidays were closing in and all the students of Hogwarts has never felt more relaxed. Due to the Holidays, the professors were going easy on them with the assignments and lessons.
Since there hasn't been another attack in while, everyone was starting to forget about the whole Chamber of Secrets thing. But there was the occasional whisper and stare towards the two Carringtons.
Fred made sure to keep the promise he made to Y/n's dad. If Y/n wasn't with anyone, she was with Fred. She didn't mind the company, though she still had no idea about the promise Fred made to her dad.
Everyone was gathered in the Great Hall for breakfast and were discussing their plans for the Holidays. The Gryffindor table was quite packed due the three extra students sitting with them.
Many of them mentioned that they really didn't have anything planned for the Holidays and were simply staying at Hogwarts.
"So none of us are going home for the Holidays?" Louis asked.
"Pretty much, yeah." George said with a nod.
An idea popped into Y/n's head but she wasn't sure if it would work. But she wanted to be home for the Holidays so she just threw it out there.
"You know, we could stay at my Family's Manor for the Holidays. I'm sure my mum wouldn't mind the company."
There was a short pause among the group. They weren't sure about the offer. Most of them were wondering if their parents would even let them stay over at someone else's home for Christmas. Others were simply wondering if Y/n's mum would let them.
"You're sure your mom wouldn't mind us being there?" Makayla asked.
"Oh yeah, no, She loves having guest over for the Holidays." Y/n stated.
"I'm not sure if my parents would let me..." Draco trailed off.
"Try asking your mum. I'm sure she'll say yes." Y/n suggested. She knew his father wouldn't be fond of the idea of Draco being at Carrington Manor but she knows his mother has a soft spot for him.
Draco nodded with a hopeful grin, "Alright, I'll write to her after breakfast."
"And I'll write to ours." Fred stated.
Everyone in the group agreed. All that Y/n had to do was write to her mother and hope she says yes.
After Y/n finished eating, she pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill. She immediately started writing her letter so she could send it out as soon as possible.
Dear mum,
I hope you're doing well at the Manor. Harry and I miss you a ton. Which is why I'm wondering if it would be okay for us to come home for the Holidays. But I was also wondering if it would be okay for my friends to stay at the Manor too. They don't really have any plans for the Holidays and were just going to stay at Hogwarts. So I thought it would be fun for us to stay at the Manor. To be completely transparent there are a lot of us. Here's a list of who might be coming.
