The Rough, Sadness, And The Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Fifteen

Me and Chris got back to LA about a week and a half ago. Today is Ryder and Lily's wedding. I have the honor of being one of Lily's bridesmaids and i'm excited she chose me. It's me, her sister, and Ameila. 

Ryder's groomsmen are Dylan, Mateo, and Chris. Ryder wanted his brother to be his best man but he's an active duty officer for the Army. So he had to back out last week. So Dylan took over being the best man and Chris filled in his spot. Ryder and his brother, Adam, are super close so Ryder was really bummbed to hear the news. 

"Christopher Robert Evans hurry your ass up!" I yelled putting my makeup stuff in the bag. "I'm right here." He said hurrying down the stairs. "Chop chop. I've still got to do people's makeup." I grabbed my bag and we made our way out the door. 

Chris woke up late. I was up with an earlier alarm because i was going to do my makeup here and then just do Lily's, Amelia's, and her sister Mary's there. But as i walked out of the bathroom to grab my dress Chris was still sleeping. Apparently his phone died yesterday so as he was charging it it didn't turn back on. 

We were driving on the freeway and i was looking out the window. I looked in the mirror and saw the worst thing that could possibly happen. There was a police car behind us and he had just turned on his lights then sirens. Groaning i put my head back and closed my eyes. 

After everything with the police Chris ended up getting a speeding ticket. For going twenty over the speed limit. That's Chris for ya. 

He pulled up to the church and i got out quickly and pulled the bag out of the back. Not even saying bye to him i ran inside finding Lily's room. 

"Where have you been?" She asked as i set everything up in front of her. "Well it started when Chris's alarm didn't go off. So we were a little late and he was rushing. But we finally got on the road and we got pulled over. Chris was trying to make up lost time and was doing twenty over. I'm so sorry. But i see you have your foundation on." I smiled a bit. 

I rushed through their makeup but it still turned out really good. With the short amount of time i had and had to do three faces i was very happy and proud about how it turned out. 

Walking over to the entrance to the aisle i walked over to Chris. His hair wasn't a mess anymore and was combed back very nice. 

"Why hello there, Sexy." I greeted. "Me? Thank you." He looked away with a smile and i just laughed. "I didn't get to say this morning but you look very beautiful, Babygirl." Chris took my hands and kissed the back of them. "Thank you." I smiled.
