"Babe." I finally opened my eyes after Chris started shaking me a little bit. Looking over at him he smiled and moved hair out of my face. "We're here, Baby." "Oh." I moved and stretched out a little bit and Chris got out of the car. He walked to my side of the car and opened the door, holding out his hand.

As I got out of the car I stretched my arms above my head. Finally looking around we were in the middle of the forest. But when I looked where the car was pointing there was a small two-story house. The lights were already on. And looking all over the property you could see part of a lake not far from the house.

The only thing that I want to add is a big deck basically where the picture is showing in front. And there is a boat in the water and long deck chairs on top with an umbrella between them.

"I may have lied about a few of those quick trips to New York. Welcome to your new vacation home, Wife." Chris stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my body. "Wait what do you mean?" I turned to him with watery eyes.

"You know me, I like thinking about our future family. And I don't want us trying to plan a vacation and have to worry about the pap following us and our kids. So I thought my wedding gift to you would be a place we can always bring our kids. Or a parent getaway." Wrapping my arms around his neck I brought his head down and softly kissed him.

"This is amazing. And your wedding gift to me should be you being my husband, not a full-ass house. I didn't even get you anything." I gently rubbed my thumb over his cheek. "Oh, Baby you got me something. The best wife in the world. And maybe something else." His hand slowly moved down from my lower back.

"Not just yet, Baby. I want to see this house." I grabbed his hands and dragged him to the house. Pulling the keys out from his back pocket he unlocked the door.

Walking in you were met with the stairs on the right, a hallway in the middle, and the living room through a doorway on the left. Making our way through the hallway you are met with a lovely kinda of big kitchen. Immediately to the left is the dining room which is connected to the living room.

There were three doors on the right wall of the kitchen. The first door was open showing more stairs but on the left was a wall of windows. Opening the second was a walk-in pantry with shelves and some drawers. The last door was a little further down and there was a small bathroom with just a toilet and a sink.

We made our way upstairs and there was one hallway with four doors. Two on the left, one on the right, and one at the very end of the hallway.

Opening the first on the left there was a kid's room. Two separate beds with a nightstand in the middle, a dresser against the wall opposite the beds with a TV on top, and a closet off to the left. Opening the door right next to that one was a bathroom. A nice walk-in shower, toilet, and two sinks.

Opening the door on the right was almost the same as the other bedroom but this room had bunk beds. So there was storage for toys along the walls. A dresser and closet are also in that room as well.
