He gave me one last stroke then collapsed next to me.
“Mr Mulaudzi, are you planning on killing me?”
He chuckled. “Do you blame me? You looked so hot, in that blue mermaid dress.”
“I can't believe my best friend just got married. It feels like a dream.” I looked at my engagement ring and smiled.
“Soon it will be you walking down the aisle.”
I kicked in the air. “I can't wait to be called Mrs Mulaudzi. Khanyisile Scarlett Mulaudzi.”
“Perfect!” LutendoWhen I returned from my shower, he was busy replying to emails.
“Working on a Sunday?”
“Just replying emails. Did you shower without me?”
“Yes. You were busy and I have work tomorrow.”
“I'm also working tomorrow.”
“Whatever babe..”He helped lotion my back. “Do you want a Sunday wedding as well?”
“No. Kele’s ceremony was beautiful but I don't want it on a Sunday.”
“Big wedding or small?” he went lower and spanked my ass.
“I can see what you're trying to do Lutendo, and it won't work.” I wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him a kiss. “I would prefer a small and intimate ceremony. But black people don't do small and intimate.”
“Mhm..” he parted my pussy lips and massaged my clit.
“Lutendo...”
He picked me up and pinned me against the wall. We shared a passionate kiss. He lifted my leg and wrapped it around his waist. I left kisses on his neck and seductively, brushed his back.
“Lutendo, stop teasing.”
He used only the head to penetrate. I let out a soft moan. “Baby, please...”
He pushed his hard member half way in and pulled out. He did that a couple of times, I got so wet, he was not going to struggle to slide in.
“You look so sexy with your eyes half closed.” Lutendo
“Please...”
He pulled out again and used the head to massage my clit. I pulled my hair like a woman on drugs. With no warning, he rammed into me. My back arched.
“Yes!”
He let out a deep moan. “Fuck! Khanyi!”
“Just fuck me, Lutendo!”
He wrapped my other leg around him. He thrusted in and out faster. He rested his head on the crook of my neck. Our sweaty bodies were sandwiched to one another. He moved his waist in circular motion. My toes curled. I grinded back.
“Shit! Mufunwa.”
We were both close. He went faster and pressed his thumb against my clit. One more thrust and we both let go. We screamed each others names. I threw my head back. He twitched inside me a few times, then pulled out.
Now we can go shower, he said...Running the academy and planning a wedding is just too much work. The venue where our wedding would take place had wedding planners but it only caters to half the job. I didn't worry about the decor, flower and seating arrangements, the menu and cake.
Today was the day of my lobola negotiations. I was in my room, in Newcastle. I was so nervous. I wanted everything to go well. I was in the room with Mpumi and other cousins. My phone rang on the dressing table.
“Sthandwa sami?”
“How are things that side?”
“I have no idea. I'm just waiting for the ululations, to know that everything went well.”
“Stop stressing everything will be okay.”
We heard loud ululations and the door opened. My aunt came in.
“Woza ntombi, everyty went well. Come and serve your in laws.” Aunt Nomvelo
“Did you hear that baby? Everything is okay.”
“I told you. I love you Mrs Mulaudzi.” Lutendo
“I love you more, mufunwa.”
Me and Lutendo agreed on a white wedding only. We didn't want the traditional wedding. My dress, his suit and the reception room, would have some touches of tradition.Later today we will travel to Venda, to do things the traditional way. Introductions to the Mulaudzi ancestors. Lutendo couldn't come with his uncles. He had to stay behind to finalize everything for tomorrow's ceremony.
A month later...
“Khanyisile, we have been to almost every boutique to find you a wedding gown.” Rendani
“Rendani, I haven't seen what I'm looking for!”
“If you had listened when I said, find a designer instead, we wouldn't be here. Your dad said he will pay for it as a wedding gift.”
“Mom...”
“No, this is ridiculous! I'm also tired. Just find a damn designer!” Mom
“Your mom is right Chommie. I'm a bridesmaid and I don't have a dress. No wedding invite?” KeleWe were having coffee at a coffee shop opposite a wedding boutique.
“Are your vows even ready?”
“Mom! You're giving me a headache. Fine I'll find a designer.”Last week we had to go to the Fusion Boutique Hotel for the cake tasting and finalize the menu. I was on the phone with Dakalo, she knew a designer. A weight off my shoulders.
“Thank you so much, Dakalo. I can finally breathe.”
“No problem makoti. If you need help with anything, I'm a phone call away.”
“You're a lifesaver.”
I was sitting in the garden, ticking off the checklist, when Lutendo made his presence felt. He kissed me on the cheek.
“How are you baby?”
“Exhausted. I want our wedding to be perfect. Tomorrow, I'm meeting up with the designer.”
“I have back to back meetings tomorrow, can I come when I knock off?”
“I'm going with my bridesmaids, you can come in the evening with your groomsmen.”
“I'm going to make myself a tuna salad, do you want something to eat?”
“Sit down, I'll go and make it.”
I made more phone calls. My mom was driving us to the designer in Midrand. I pray she can take my crazy ideas and give me the wedding gown I had in mind. Her PA took us to the garden where she was.
“Khanyisile?”
“That would be me. Khumo Morapedi?”
“So, what does the bride want? Please have a seat everyone.”She took out her note book, and listened to my crazy ideas. I was blabbering most of the time.
“Calm down Khanyisile. I can see what you're talking about and it's going to look amazing.”
“Really?”
“Yes. Don't worry, I got you covered.” she winked. I exhaled.
“Lutendo, will come in the evening with his groomsmen.”
She nodded, while someone took my measurements. “How many bridesmaids?”
“Seven.. three are overseas, they will come tomorrow for measurements.”
“Okay, you want different necklines for your bridesmaids right?”
“Yes. Everyone has a different body,I don't want anyone being uncomfortable in their dresses.”
“When is the wedding?”
“Two months time...” I cringed
Her eyes popped. Then she laughed. “I'm just pulling your leg. Me and my team will deliver. I'll see you in two weeks time, for your first fitting.”
We said our goodbyes and left...Returning from work, Lutendo was in the kitchen cooking. I wrapped my arms around his midsection. “Something smells nice, what are you cooking?”
“Cauliflower rice and spicy chicken strips, stir fry.”
“I can't wait, I'm quickly going to bath.”
“Give me some sugar.” quickly gave him a kiss and ran to our bathroom. We had dinner at the patio.
“My man is a chef as well? This is delicious.”
“Thanks. How did the fitting go?”
“She knows her story! The dress is far from being finished, but I can already see that it's exactly what I had in mind and more.”
“As long as my girl is happy.”
“You make me happy.” I leaned over and gave him a kiss. “I hope you didn't buy your ring?”
“Why?”
“I bought one for you.”
“Let me see if it fits.”
“No. I measured your finger, a while back when you were asleep.”
We continued to talk more about the wedding and moving into a bigger home. He was going to rent this one out.
We lay on the fleece in the garden, and admired the full moon. He kissed my hand, I snuggled closer.
