Today was just a normal, any other day. It was nice and sunny, the citizens of Inazuma went on with their daily activities. While the Kamisato household wished they could say the same, it wasn't. The news about the clan getting a new housekeeper spread throughout the household like wildfire. In fact, by late morning, there wasn't a single person who didn't know that they would be introduced to the new housekeeper before dinner.
Of course this only went for the other housekeepers, the Kamisato family themselves would be meeting him after dinner. The only son of the Kamisato clan acted all the same while the only daughter, Ayaka Kamisato was quite excited to see a new face.
"Nii-sama, have you heard the news?" Ayaka asked her brother, Ayato Kamisato.
"Ayaka, there isn't a single person in this household who hasn't heard." Ayato noted.
"Of course," Ayaka said, bowing her head slightly, "Are you excited for the newcomer?"
"I am certainly quite elated to welcome a new face, however, we must contain our excitement until after dinner." Ayato reminded his sister.
"Of course," Ayaka nodded, "Now, you must excuse me Nii-sama. I must be getting to my swordfighting lessons."
With that, the two siblings bowed slightly and both went opposite directions.
...
An orange-haired boy walked through the manor, he had gotten seperated from his guide and was now wandering around the Kamisato mansion, hoping to find them. Mind you, he was very careful to not go inside as he would be tracking dirt inside the house. Therefore, he had resorted to just walking around the perimeters.
"Well done Lady Ayaka! Your blade is as quick as lightning!" the orange-haired boy heard someone call in the distance, hoping they could help him, the boy followed the voice to see the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her hair was white-blue and her skin was fair, everything about the girl attracted him to her.
"Thank you," she smiled at her teacher, "But surely, there was must be something I can improve."
"Tomorrow, I will find harder moves for you Lady Ayaka." the teacher promised, "Our lesson is finished for today, I will ask for a housekeeper to come fetch you."
"Thank you, I will see you tomorrow." The girl named Ayaka bowed her head and sheathed her blade.
"Thoma! This is where you where!" the orange-haired boy turned around to see his guide standing behind him, "Hurry up, dinner will be served in an hour. After dinner, you will be meeting the members of the Kamisato clan!"
"I know, I'll help with dinner!" the boy whose name was Thoma grinned and followed the housekeeper inside.
...
"Lady Kamisato, Lord Kamisato, Young Lord Ayato, and Young Lady Ayaka," the head cook greeted the Kamisato family who were all sitting on a tatami mat with their legs tucked in, "For tonight's dinner, we present to you a side of onigiri, unagi chazuke, five pickled treasures, and dry-braised salted fish. For dessert, we have tri-colored dango and sakura mochi."
"Thank you Itsuki." Ayaka said, addressing the head chef by his name.
"Young Lady Ayaka, your praise is unworthy to the staff behind your meal." Itsuki replied solemnly, he did a dogeza bow and then exited the room, saying that he would be back later to collect their plates.
