Fear

     Thoma thought he knew fear.

    Thoma thought that all those days cowering and crying in his room was fear.

    Thoma thought that his eyes widening as he watched a part of his makeshift sailboat get torn to shreds by the harsh waters with his heart pounding like a drum was fear.

   Thoma thought that...

   Thoma thought that...

   Thoma thought he knew fear.

   But what he felt right now was something that jumped beyond anything he's felt in his life.

   Hairs on his arms standing straight up as he sat there in between two soldiers being able to do nothing but wait and watch as the Almighty Shogun walked on the platforms above, demanding attention, respect, and silence.

  Breathing felt like a chore as Thoma held his breath in anticipation. Seconds felt like minutes and Thoma's mind was going crazy with thoughts as his eyes fell to his Pyro Vision, glowing as bright as the day he got it.

  As the Shogun stretched her arm out, the skies darkened, thunder could be heard as her eyes glowed a dangerous purple and the symbol of Electro appeared in her outstretched hand, ordering the Vision to come her way.

 Thoma wanted to scream but it caught on his throat as he turned to his Vision, watching it get pulled away.

  Snap.

  Watching with eyes filled with hopelessness, Thoma lunged forward, he was completely prepared to break these restraints if it meant he could grab his Vision back.

 Suddenly, there was a loud gasp.

  The Traveler raced through the streets of Inazuma City, their breaths short as they quickly sped up the pace.

  "Come on! This way!" Paimon exclaimed, flying ahead. 

   Refusing to spare any breath for words, the Traveler nodded.

  "Please... let us make it there in time...! If Thoma loses his Vision... if Thoma loses his Vision..." the Traveller's mind flashed with the bright smile of their dear friend, the way his eyes lit up whenever he talked about how happy he was in Inazuma but thought about Mondstadt every day...

  "No... no! I don't want to see that disappear!"

  Ayaka and Thoma always looked happy together. Thoma had told them that he had earned his Vision while yearning to be of help with her when she was in danger, if it suddenly disappeared then would that mean...?

 "Please... help... let me get there in time... you're out there, right? If there's any way you can help me... please... I'm begging you..."

   Making a sharp turn, Traveler saw the large group surrounding the statue.

  "There he is!" Paimon pointed to the center of the clearing where Thoma sat with two guard preventing him from moving.

  Before Traveler could move, their eyes widened and they froze.

  "This feeling..." the Traveler's heart began to pound as immediately, they turned to the top platform.

  Donned in a short lavender kimono with her long purple hair tied into a long braid, the Raiden Shogun stood with with an electrifying gaze.
